Don't be stupid! None of you are going to catch ebola. We are talking about a disease that was virtually extinct, up until a few months ago. The reason why these people were catching it was purely based on the total lack of hygiene in their country, and complete ignorance of how this disease is spread/contracted. The spread of this disease through a population with conventional sanitation, would be almost non-existent. There's a reason why it isn't found in modern society. It's because we have created an environment where it is virtually impossible to come into contact with diseases such as ebola. Are any of you going to drink from stagnant water contaminated with animal feces? Well, chances are you won't catch ebola. The end!

The family of the man that died had to be put under guard because they would not obey instructions to quarantine themselves and it's that kind of foolishness that can create problems. Though we may be capable of taking steps to prevent a massive outbreak ultimately there's nothing that can done to control all people. |
