Here's an update on the Gregory figures.
I sold one of them to Alexandros Chapin on Facebook locally on Saturday, so that one is already gone.
I primed the others all with Krylon Fusion spray paint and it worked extremely well. However, I had some bad luck. Two of the Gregory figures fell off the popsicle sticks I had hot glued them to (for spray painting them) onto the slate tile patio while I was carrying them all, and their antennas broke off. I repaired them the best I could after I found as many missing pieces as I could find outside.
The one on the left wasn't missing pieces, so I just super glued it back together, but you can still tell it was glued if you put him on the end of your nose.
The middle one was missing a 2 mm long piece of his antenna I couldn't find outside. So the only reasonable repair I could think of was to find a twig that was the same circumference as his antenna. So that's what I cut and glued in. Again, this probably won't be very visible once you paint his antennas black, unless you have him on the end of your nose.
And then, the far right one was the one that I received from my co-worker without any antennas. I used the same twig and glued two pieces on as antennas. In person, in all honesty, this one looks a little perkier and happier than the others, so I kind of like these twig antennas on him better than the printed ones. If I was keeping one of the larger ones, this is the one I would keep.
Since these Gregory figures are so small, after painting the antennas black, you'll likely hardly notice the damage. But if anybody wants to back out and not buy one, let me know, and I'll offer your Gregory to someone else.
Derrick Mann has already paid me, so he gets one of the undamaged ones.
I did ask my co-worker to print a couple of the smaller ones for me, but I don't know when he'll have them done. I waited almost a year for him to make these, so hopefully it won't be that long of a wait... ssj2dakota has reserved one of these smaller ones for himself. If I have extras from that print order, I will place those up for sale then...
