Double post! Decided to put Ginyu back in his box. As I said, I took extra precautions in order to not damage the box. I can't wait to get Jeice and preorder a Recoome. But more than them, Burter. I've never seen a better Burter figure in the whole of DBZ merch. I actually did some quick brainstorming on how I would approach a King Cold Figuarts: I'd resize and retool a Ginyu body (the armor, muscles and skin tone are already there), I'd resize First Form Frieza's elbow and knee pads, feet and tail, and re-paint them, finally it needs the cape and perhaps a new head sculpt to accomodate the horns. I'd include a Trunks' sword accessory, crossed arms piece (like those of Vegeta and Piccolo) and the following faceplates: -A basic smiling face. (for just standing with his arms crossed, or to recreate his artwork with Mecha Frieza in the Manga) -A "bored", "meh" face. ("what's a Goku?" lol) -A Toothed Grin face. (admiring, using sword) -Finally, a shocked face (to pose with a SS Trunks figure) I'd give him fists as his "base", in box set of hands, then 2 hands to hold the sword accessory and a set of open hands ( a nice nod to the Jakks figure, AND for a "join me" sign!  ) I'd base his color scheme on Z, where he looks way more badass than he does in Super: Broly. Mecha Frieza, I see him getting his own figure. And perhaps a King Cold/Frieza Ship akin to Bulma's bike for scenery purposes. |

Thanks, Friez, but I think you misunderstand. I'm not building a King Cold Figuarts. I'm just saying what I'd do if I was in charge of making one  This month or next I'm preordering Recoome. I'll also start buying back old games I sold to raise funds to go meet some ungrateful little piss-ant I thought I loved. Oh well. |

Was going to get Recoome today, but my excitement for Burter made me get him instead. I've got a few more months for 'Coome, I'll wait a bit. Burter, I wanted to be certain I'd get one. I'm the first pre-order on GlobalFreaks' ebay!
3 Ginyus outta four now. I'm also contemplating getting First Form Frieza, but yet another part of me wants to stick to the Ginyus and King Cold (if we get one).

Double post time!!
I have the opportunity of a lifetime to buy a second loose, full Jakks King Cold figure!! So I'm dropping Recoome like a hot potato!! He's not as cool as Ginyu, Burter or Jeice anyway haha.
I've started sorting through my things I no longer want and began listing stuff at a local "virtual garage sale" site to sell/pawn off for money for him. I want to make 600 bucks total (by selling a ton of unnecessary crap I have) so I can buy the listing. He comes with a Jakks Mecha Frieza, too, which is nice. I'll have to buy a Super Saiyan Trunks figure on the cheap too lol.
I hope I get it, dear God! I'll see about keeping y'all posted!

The listing has the figure stated as "like new". I'm happy about that. I'm also looking at a consolation prize. It's a slightly banged up one with no tail or spare hands, but it does have a cape which looks to be in decent enough condition. If worse comes for worse I'll get that one. I have a spare tail and pair of hands to give it from my broken removable armor custom! The nicks and scratches just need to be touched up otherwise.
So far, no bites on the new stuff I've uploaded online. I hope I can get interested folks!!

Don't care too much if the box is damaged, I care about the figures being in 1 piece. I'll be able to handle my loose one if this goes through! Wow, has it already been 3 months since I last posted in this thread??? Well anyway: Jeice showed up in early March. I'm really happy with the Jeice Figuarts. His face and general sculpt totally kick major butt. Jeice is the only one I haven't yet removed from his box: Ginyu and Chi-Chi have seen fresh air, but I decided to box them up again. I'm really digging the Figuarts line. Just a shame they're kinda pricey for a guy with a modest budget. In other Figuarts news, I still have Burter+Guldo, First Form Frieza with Frieza Pod and Cooler on pre-order. Yup, Cooler. I couldn't resist grabbing him. Plus, My Recoome should hopefully be shipping soon enough, the listing did say April, so with any luck, globalfreaks will ship him soon. Also, I've spotted, and will probably even WIN, a nice surprise figure lot. I'm keeping it secret for now, I don't want to jinx my chances of winning it!! I won't spoil it for now, in case I don't get it. Either way, this lot is the best Dragon Ball figure lot I've ever seen in my soon-to-be 32 years of life, with a lot of great figures there. I haven't been outbid in almost 3 days, so I have high hopes! Let's just say, you guys could be in for a HELL of a shock to the system. I know, I was taken aback. But that's all the info you're getting out of me! I'll keep you updated!! |

Don't let it get you down. Most people on Ebay bid the last minute or use sniping software to bid at the last second. You should always bid the maximum you are willing to pay close to the end of the auction.
