Okay time for a double post. So I've been thinking and I still really want to plan out this move to my favourite province in Canada that I'm thinking about. I want to save up for it like crazy because I'm planning a safety net of a certain amount before I start thinking of administrative tasks and packing. So I'm going to stop shopping on eBay and limit my spending in general. So my ReBoot and miscellaneous figures and collectibles will be going to new owners, once I find them. So what does this mean for my DB collection? I'm massively downsizing it. I'm keeping a few figures but will offload a chunk of them. I'm keeping all of my 6 King Cold figures (7 figures if you count my removable armor custom), my Energy Blaster Ginyu, my Saga Continues S1 Frieza and my Dragon Stars Cooler. The rest will be gone as soon as possible. I have some Jakks figures in the mix, hopefully they'll fetch a nice price If I collect again if will be a strictly King Cold sub-collection. All my old collections will be sold off: ReBoot, statuettes, fairies/Disney Fairies, etc. But not on eBay because 1) IDK how to set it up, and 2) they keep a cut. I will be raising all the money I possibly can, because this project is important to me and I want it to happen in the next 5-10 years. I will remain a part of this forum/community just the same In case we get news of new Cold collectibles lol. Just kidding, not just that, but you guys have been awesome too. Cheers! |

Okay, so a part of me misses this hobby already. I just got to thinking about my late uncle today while looking at a Irwin Jeice listing, and how he used to know someone who would score me DBZ figures for Christmases and birthdays. I miss him for that, also for other reasons. That Jeice was one of them. I've decided that since I'm going into compsci, a field I already love and is lucrative, and if I make/earn/inherit/etc some sizable income, I will resume the collection of DB figures, but carded this time. Some of my figures I already miss, and others I'm reluctant to sell, such as my Energy Blasting Ginyu, Dragon Stars Cooler, and my Irwin Frieza (and all my King Cold stuff, of course, my custom included). But I'll drop them all in a heartbeat for mint or carded versions lol. Dragon Ball Z has been a major part of my childhood and teenage years. Just a little fun update on me. Projects are still going great. Going back to college as soon as next year!
Once I'm moved and settled, I will sell my other figures from other sets.

I think that's unlicensed, but pretty cool. It says League Studio is who is making it. I don't follow resin studios, but most are unlicensed.

Scored a SH. Figuarts Ginyu, which will be coming tomorrow after being on hold due to being unable to pay duty on him. Got a friend to do it, and I have the money ready for her.
I also pre-ordered a Jeice from globalfreaks, and will do the same for Recoome and Burter later. I want ALL the Ginyu Force Figuarts!

I like it when you comment, bro Still figuring out the Recoome details before I preorder him. Meaning the date I'll push the button. Excited as HELL about Burter/Guldo though!
EDIT: Decided to open Ginyu after all. I took care not to damage the box.
