I bought two new figures today! My bill was almost cut in half thanks to the 25 dollar card I got from my friend.  Dragon Stars Super Saiyans Gotenks and Gohan!  And they STILL had that Tien. But he's $80, I hadn't brought enough cash to take him 
But the good news? My new King Cold could be arriving as soon as THIS WEEK!!

He should still be widely available. I've seen him myself at 3 or 4 stores simultaneously. I regret not grabbing a Piccolo I'd seen before though. I'm going to this mini version of the Comic-Con this December focusing mostly on collectibles, I hope to find stuff there  |

Yeah, I Saw Dragon Stars Super Sayian 3 Gotenks At NYCC New York Comic Con and Was Going To Buy Him, But Instead Decided To Buy Dragon Stars Perfect Cell.! Still A Great, Figure Though.

They're here! AAAAA. Trunks! He looks great. Sword has a bit of bend but meh!
And now my crown jewel: King Cold. The complete version! Better condition, but for much less! I already swapped the capes, and he looks phenomenal!

I think this is my most effective Dragon Ball display yet. Off-screen are my Dragon Ball games, the Dragon Ball Z DVD box set and my 2 World Figure Colosseum figures. I've managed to make it look efficient and crowded <3 I'm becoming fiercely proud of this collection, almost as much as my ReBoot one.
The space next to my monitor from before where I had figures? I think I'll put the box set and my games there.

This is making me excited to get more stock for my collection from IRL and eBay. That break I'm giving myself to save more money? It's gonna be a long one, folks! I'm giving myself till summer 2020 instead of spring. I'm making sure I give myself as much wiggle room as possible. I owe my folks over a grand, mostly from my first Jakks King Cold and one of the eBay cards used to buy the second, displayed on this shelf. It'll take a few months to restore my balance lol. I went a little overboard this year (eBay had a sort of "HOLY CRAP THAT'S A LOT OF SELECTION!!" effect on me) and I have to make sure I don't buy as much next time lol.
I've also embarked on a mission for the future to try and "buy back" figures I've sold off before while financing my ReBoot set. Even figures like Frieza II, to replace my old one which I had destroyed to get parts for my first custom almost 17 years ago. Speaking of custom figures... dang. I wish I had pics... But Branjita might have been interested in the fact that I had made a custom Burter with removable armor from a Energy Blaster Ginyu torso and armor, and legs, arms and head from an Irwin Burter. I loved, and miss, that custom I chucked him to make some space. I might create another one in the future after I have much more room in my budget for a spare Burter and EB Ginyu. Custom figure plans: -Burter with removable armor recreation. This one was my favourite custom. -Custom paint job/restoration for an old Jakks King Cold with a new cape and colour scheme from Dragon Ball Super: Broly. -I ...... ~MIGHT~ revisit the King Cold idea (with Jakks King Cold parts (instead of a Frieza II) and a EB Ginyu, and depending on finances and availability, a custom cape.)
I will create a thread in customs once I'm ready to get started. What kinds of paint do you fellas use to paint your custom figures?

Welp.... bumping again.  I bought 4 figures today on an outing to the mall in the next town over. -Dragon Stars Piccolo, SS3 Goku, and Vegeta.  -S.H.Figuarts Bulma. This time it's a legit one!  So a while ago I saw a couple of bootleg Figuarts on my local varage sale site, a Kid Goku going for 25 and a Vegeta for 30-40. I might be able to re-sell my incoming bootleg Bulma for a small profit!~ Damn straight I'm keeping the legit figure!! |

Nappa showed up yesterday! He's not in THAT bad a condition considering I readjusted his head joint, which is still nice and stiff, his scouter and boom, he's ready for display!

Tabuu, you have a lot of action figures, I think you could pose them more dinamically, it would look great!!

hono I'd thought of that before, but I'm wary about handling them too much, especially my Jakks King Cold. And right now I'm tight on space and this was the best configuration for that.

Got my Future SS Trunks in the mail today! Dirt cheap for a figure this old and durable.
I love this figure! I love most of the Super Battle Collection Irwin reissues, those are awesome figures.
In the Saga Continues/SBC set, Namek Vegeta and the Piccolo are the ones I want most next. 
I also have my eyes on a Energy Blasting Ginyu that's quite low-priced.
