I'm also happy to see him make a physical appearance in Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot.  I just hope those cutscenes are in-engine and not pre-rendered, that way I'll be able to rip and play with his model
I'm also happy because in 2020, even though the new year will be focused on saving money, selling off anything redundant, and rearranging my space, I still get to shop on eBay a few times a year. I have my eye on a few things, including a preorder of the King Cold Funko. I always get excited when I see new King Cold merch, it makes me able to support him and his inclusion!

So!! I've been doing a lot of thinking and personal reflection these past few days. As you know, I have 2 collections: ReBoot and Dragon Ball. I've recently decided to stick with just one. It was a difficult decision because I love both IPs, but I've decided to stay with Dragon Ball. One of the main reasons? This forum. It inspires me to keep going and continually reminds me that Dragon Ball is a franchise whose toys I have always loved, consistently throughout the years. So I set my figures back up and I'm gonna sell off the ReBoot stuff, as well as all my old childhood toys: to finance both my collection and my project(s). First things first, I have a dual King Cold/Cyborg (Mecha) Frieza Jakks listing that caught my eye. Having built my Removable Battle Armor King Cold custom, I find myself yet again wanting a spare Jakks King Cold. I had even messaged the seller of this listing and they told me both figures are complete. I also want a new Energy Blasting Action Ginyu figure, this time for display on my shelf complete with scouter and energy ball accessories. I always loved that Ginyu as a child. I've been through five or so of them then. Now's time to get one for keeps. I also eventually want to increase the number of Jakks Pacific figures in my collection, I have my favourite one, sure, but King Cold is but a minute part of Dragon Ball, no matter how much I love him. I absolutely want this thing. But he's worth about 1,000 bucks. Almost like the Tokyo Toy Fair resin statue. A great dream, but a pipe one I'm also about to acquire a mystery King Cold artifact in a few hours. I'll keep y'all posted!

I just received my Ginyu in the post today! Despite my former track record with it, I've always absolutely LOVED this figure. The idea of not only having a Ginyu figure, but one with a removable body armor, always appealed to me. Not only was seeing Ginyu without his armor a BIG deal to me at the time (as a kid I had an obsession with what particular armored fighters looked like without them, Ginyu, Burter and King Cold more specifically lol), it was usually always Z Fighters + Frieza, so I was happy with a Ginyu. This, and the new S.H. Figuarts of him, are both my all-time favourite figures of the good captain. I'm glad they chose Ginyu in this set, for a variety of reasons today, but not as huge as the no-armor one from back in the day. It was a dream figure for me. As mentioned, this particular Ginyu is NOT for customs / parts. I bought it in a damaged package, just so I can have that authentic "new toy" smell out of its package that I so fondly remembered. That, and so I can get the ball AND scouter. Set me back only a lil' over 20 bucks, I'm happy with it.  |

friezku thanks mate! Also, I've been notified that my General Blue is already in the next town over from mine. I should be getting it tomorrow or Friday earliest! One thing I AM worried about? My Cell still hasn't shipped, according to eBay. I'm kinda concerned the seller can't find the figure, but I'm hoping he/she just forgot to hit the little "shipped" ticker afterwards. And on one final note? I love this damn thing. I should really retouch the chipped paint and all, but I'm starting to really love the caricature-esque aesthetic of it~!

False alarm. I was just notified that Cell shipped. Everything's cool now!
EDIT: Blue just arrived! Looking spiffy, as ALL Jakks figures seem to be!
