I've been pretty unmotivated the past few months, but I have done some stuff the past two days. The smaller Chi Chi is finished and is for sale. Best offer gets it. The large headed one is for sale too. Just want $3 for it, it was simple, all I did was easily head swap that head onto the body and repainted the hair. The tallest one is for my collection... when I finish it.

Yamcha won't get worked on further than this for awhile. I want to make some progress on my Chi Chi, SS Goku, and eventually finish SS2 Gohan. Eventually I need to work on Dark Gohan's customs I agreed to do about three years ago... I've only finished one... I think. Ugh.

That Trunks is going to be amazing as well as Yamcha. What head did you use for Yamcha?

It's from the DWC Yamcha bootleg figure. It isn't a direct fit, but I can engineer it without too many wasted hours.

Adrenaline just finished the sculpting and base coats on a pair of Cooler customs he owed me in exchange of some design work. Eventually, I'll work my painting magic on them and make them look like my other custom figures! It's been a long time. I hope I haven't lost my touch!

AHH awesome! Are those bodies from that Golden Frieza figure?

Yes, they are ssj2dakota . Cooler is a great example that I still got it in me (it's also better than my own, which proves I have gotten better since 2013 when I made mine). Metal Cooler was almost as good, but very tough to sculpt. His design is very complex and since the base Golden Frieza's arms are stuck in place, it was quite difficult to sculpt his waist area. It was also hard making a character I don't have for someone else lol

Well Adrenaline, they're both fantastic sculpts! I miss seeing your custom stuff, man!

I'm actually excited to eventually work on these. I think dressing up the paint job on Cooler will be easy. Meta Cooler will be super fun I think, or super frustrating. I plan on almost cel-shading him, but blending cel-shading with my style. It'll either work out great, or not!

Well, this $278 value jackpot just arrived in the mail today! I guess I need to start making time for my old customizing hobby again, so this doesn't go to waste! I did some web design/programming consultation (essentially a review, criticism, and "here's how to fix that" for everything I found wrong on) Aves's upcoming new website and I requested they trade me product for my time instead of money . So I basically got anything and everything I could ever want to finish every project I have in progress lol. Now I just need the time to do it... without sacrificing my job, relationship, family, sleep, social life, or exercise/health. So that basically means I'd have to stop playing DBZ Dokkan Battle and Pokemon Go so much . I don't know if I can break those addictions. So what did I get? I'll tell you. EARTH Color kit PRIMARY Color kit NEUTRAL Color kit Apoxie Sculpt – Color: Brown, Size: 1 Lb Apoxie Sculpt – Color: Pink, Size: 1 Lb Apoxie Sculpt – Color: Orange, Size: 1 Lb Apoxie Sculpt – Color: Yellow, Size: 1 Lb Super White Apoxie – 1 Lb FIXIT – Color: Black, Size: 1 Lb FIXIT – Color: White, Size: 1 Lb Apoxie Clay – Color: Natural, Size: 1 Lb Apoxie Paste – 8 Fl. Oz FIXIT Paste – 8 Fl. Oz. FIXIT Sculpt – 1 Lb Safety Solvent Laminated color chart To be honest, I don't have any experience with half of the products I requested, and that's part of why I requested them! I want to find out how FIXIT and FIXIT Sculpt are different from Apoxie Sculpt and Apoxie Clay! And what in the world is Apoxie Paste?! It's exciting that I get to find out, and I am getting to do so without any pain to my pocket (just some time I happily donated). It will be a major adjustment to the way I have always worked. I have always been a penny pincher... the most frugal person with my clay and other supplies. Nothing went to waste. I used as little clay as possible and would instead cut, grind, and sand on the plastic of figures for hours, because I always dreaded the future expense of having to order more Apoxie. (It's not very expensive honestly, but I was self-employed the entire time I used to customize all the time, and the struggle is VERY real when you're self-employed! Money doesn't come easily!) But anyway, I am also excited at the prospect of getting to save a little bit of time and a little bit (or a lot of bit) of paint by having so many colors of Apoxie Sculpt available to me now! I have every color kit, so I have a small amount of all the main colors a person could need. And I requested a pound of brown (for my Oozaru Gohan), pink (it's my favorite to sculpt with, because it's a nice bland color and very smooth), yellow (for my Hildegarn), and orange (to mix with white FIXIT, which I was told would make a perfect, pale skintone like Goku and others have). Super excited about this! And as far as I know, their new website isn't quite ready for the world yet. But you can see their old one here: www.avesstudio.com/ And if there is any interest, I might be able to convince them to give DBF members a little bit of a discount on their new website! Maybe with a coupon code! I think they'd do it! Make sure to reply if you're interested and I'll send Aves a link to this thread for them to look at it!

Branjita , dude, that's awesome! I'm jealous, I just bought some sculpt, haha, and just like you, I'm super conservative with my money. But now I expect to see SSJ2 Gohan and some others finished!! I'm interested to see the new website, too! I love seeing what the possibilities graphic design has to offer.
