thanks guys  yeah Branjita , not to toot my own horn, but i like the head i made loads better than the original one! heres a pic of my whole display at the moment Your display is simply amazing especially the custom ki effects

thanks dbzcustoms114not sure if you mean the platinum or shaded one, but the hair isnt as hard as doing all the gi and boots etc.. that's because its not as big an area of paint and its just one alone piece (well two including the fringe). also you can seperate the face from it so you dont have to worry about getting paint anywhere it shouldnt be! |

Is that aura effect custom made? thanks dudes.. yeah the effects are made by me ..looks like Bandai have finally caught up with me and are now releasing some - but mine are way cheaper !! i probably will get one of the official ones coming to go with BD SS Goku though i had shown pics of these before but as i dont have a pic account they will have been ersaed off here now (although my group shot that shows some other ones is on page 13 still (thanks Branjita) ) but i'll shamelessly show a couple of pics again with a white aura Goku and a pic of vegeta powering up!   |

i like those ones aswell.
i did go through trial and error to get to the ones like that. the clear background is better than full colour as thats how it is in the anime most of the time, and it creates more of an aura effect like that.

some of you might remember last year i posted a custom i did of saiyan saga Goku...  well unfortunately shortly after i finished it my anime accuracy eye openend and i realised that Gokus neckline on his gi was too high (as its high at the beginning of Z, then gets much lower at the android saga), but i couldnt be bothered to mess about with it again.. so for the past year or so that its been on my shelf, nearly everytime ive looked at it ive thought- I NEED to change that flippin goku gi!!! so with the recent hooha! over the sdcc 2015 goku, its spurred me on to do it as even though its not the frieza saga goku, it more or less is... so to compensate for the fact i might not get a sdcc goku, ive improved on my saiyan saga custom - i like to call it the ' saiyan saga Goku : Fk u sdcc exclusive/bluefin/tamashii/bandai version' not a massive change but i think it makes a big difference   |

Amazing customs and energy effects dude, I've only had the courage to customise bootlegs at the moment. Once I improve and gain some confidence then I may customise some original figaurts. Right now they are just so expensive to risk ruining haha, I've recently just posted up a WIP of Goku is his outfit against Raditz after removing his weighted clothing. How do you match the colours so well to the originals and what kind of paint are you using, if you dont mind me asking? |

I don't think there's any magic trick or formula to match colors, you kind of just have to keep mixing paint to get closer and closer. I'm pretty bad at it myself!  |

Yeah I'm trying to learn more colour theory for mixing. Theres a lot to take in though lol. Thought it would be easier to know what specific colours were used for mixing, cadmium red, lemon yellow etc.
