The only Goku's I want right now is Kid Goku or SS4 Goku, personally. I'm going to go crazy when he's given an official release date. Every figure before and after will just be bonuses compared to him.

They made a mistake on the card. (Pretty big, too.)

Actually, now that I'm looking at the official pictures, there's no screaming face included. So it's an entirely new head For Super Saiyan Trunks? He had a shouting face on the official pictures.

When you step back to think about it, no matter what you prefer, we are all very lucky to have so many options on Dragon Ball Z collectibles today.

I wouldn't be surprised to see anime Ultimate Gohan as the SDCC Exclusive. I can't see Goku or Vegeta since they've been the past 2 years.

Oh well, excuse me, I didn't care to take your selfishness into consideration. And I'm sorry I didn't take your lack of funds into consideration. Maybe you should collect something a little cheaper eh buddy? If you can't spring an extra $100 on a figure you really want then this seriously isn't for you. Oh, we're talking money now, eh? You bringing out the "big boy" arguments? Funding is no problem for me. The majority of the collecting community not being able to gain access to one and Tamashii's lack of potential profit on the other hand would be a problem. Why would Tamashii release 3 of the most demanded figures and limit them to a SDCC Exclusive? That not only screws over the collecting community, which Tamashii seems to respect very well, but also screws themselves over from having the budget to increase their resources regarding the line. Have a nice day.

If Tamashii wants to purposely piss off a lot of people, those would be the best choices. Despite the price increase I thoroughly enjoy the SDCC's, wouldn't piss me off in the slightest. Oh well, excuse me, I didn't care to take your selfishness into consideration.

Anyone have any predictions as far as what the SDCC 2016 figure will be? I'm hoping for Majin Vegeta, SS4 Goku, or Nappa (fingers crossed) If Tamashii wants to purposely piss off a lot of people, those would be the best choices.

I'm still skeptical that the Vegeta figure they were talking about is in fact the Super Saiyan 3 Vegeta prototype. I can't imagine Tamashii would have him as a regular release. (I assumed the poster meant regular release when he said "retail release" rather than "web exclusive" which he mentioned multiple times before.)
(Regarding the Turtles, a Bluefin Brand Manager stated that they are planned for 2016.)

The Vegeta alluded to in the post www.tokunation.com/showpost.php?p=564456&postcount=3508The Trunks was released and I think the SSJ3 Vegeta was more a placeholder for an uncoming resculpt. Tamashii are trying to bring us more regualr releases now as opposed to web exculsive which may explain the hold up on future PC's p.s. I had types a hell of a lot more detail, but I back spaced my browser and lost it all....lol It's funny people are still using that post as a reference for upcoming figures. None of this news has been confirmed. None of this news has ever been referenced by a reputable source since that post was made. The supposed interview their citing in the post has never been posted online for others to see. Not very credible if you ask me. Trunks was given a brand new sculpt, an official release date, and was labeled as a regular release. If the source was able to comment on that before the figure was even revealed, it appears to be credible enough for me.

I'm thinking Majin Vegeta will finally grace our collections this year and he'll be something like the SWA Goku. Battle damaged, new articulation and absolutely badass. That would definitely count as a new sculpt! The SSJ3 body could then be used for regular, SSJ, and SSJ3 Vegeta. For some reason I don't think Tamashii will bother with making SSJ2 which is unfortunate if so. I really hope we get a Vegeta with the new style of articulation. If Goku and Trunks are given one, Vegeta should as well. If Tamashii chooses to make it Majin Vegeta, that'll just be a plus. The one thing I truly want for a Vegeta figure is an updated hair sculpt. I'm horribly disappointed that SSGSS Vegeta didn't have it. Let's hope a Buu Saga Vegeta will. Just give us that detail, Tamashii!!!

They weren't talking about the SSGSS Vegeta since he was already announced and shown before the rumors started circulating. I figured they were talking about the SSJ3 since Trunks was unveiled at the same time as him, thus confirming the rumors. I have a very good feeling that the body is what they were mainly trying to show off and while SSJ3 will be coming out, Buu Saga/Majin is soon to follow. Oh okay, good. I keep forgetting how long SSGSS Vegeta has been shown for. I don't think they were talking about SS3 Vegeta. Especially if they said "BRAND NEW SCULPT!" That's like saying SSGSS Goku is a brand new sculpt. I'm thinking Vegeta will be given the 2.0 articulation treatment if he was included in the statement with Trunks.

Wow, I completely forgot about that with Vegeta getting a brand new sculpt. I hope they weren't referencing SSGSS Vegeta.
Edited: No worries. That was good enough detail! I know that feeling though when all your typed work is erased.

When is the next big event? Next big event in Japan will be Tamashii Summer Collection 2016 which is typically the last weekend of May. I'll be very surprised if they don't make some announcements via their website before then though. I'm still expecting Whis, Vados, Champa and perhaps Jaco for Fall 2016. They may squeeze SSJ4 Goku and the rumoured new Vegeta in before the end of the year, but that will likely be it. The new PC's are on hold I'm guessing, while they assess the sales figures for Vegeta and Trunks.I'm expecting they'll do something with that Kid Goku body early 2017. It has a lot of potential, but may need some re-tooling. They can then give us Goten, Trunks and Gotenks along with at least one of those Buu figures! All of this depends on how Super is going however. Since it due to end Summer 2017. Of course if Shueisha decide to give the series more life we could see Tamashii focussing on that product line for the foresable. What rumored new Vegeta? They should know by now how they sold.

I don't. Tamashii produced x amount of Frieza Saga Goku and separated them between Galeria Mexico and SDCC. They changed the packaging to fit that specific convention. It's no different than what Tamashii is currently doing by printing Bluefin exclusive packaging for the United States releases. The Galeria Mexico packaging is limited to 500 so if the hardcore collectors want to obtain it, more power to them. Yeah, it's the same figure with a different box... I ran in to someone on Facebook and they said they only needed two more Gokus to complete their figuarts Goku collection and the ones that were missing was SDCC 2011 and... Mexico Goku... Just surprised there were people who considered them separate releases. It depends on how collectors want to go about collecting the series. I have the SDCC Exclusive so I have no desire to pay for the Galeria Mexico packaging.
