According to Premium Banai Japan, Super Saiyan Vegeta's order reservations just ended on the 20th.
Super Saiyan 3 Goku was released in May 2015, Super Saiyan Future Trunks was released in December 2015, and Super Saiyan Vegeta is released in July 2016. They're more than likely going to stick to 2 per year and there's still October, November, and December for Dragon Ball Z products to be announced.

I think it's highly likely that even though these things sell better in the West, Tamashii treats Japanese interests with priority. Whether those 'Japanese interests' are what Japanese fans actually display interest in, or what Toei says the Dragon Ball brand should market heaviest, is conjecture. In any case, it's the reason why DB Kai/Super could be called the main market, even when that isn't that big here. I think it's leaning towards that way at the moment but Tamashii may be testing the market so they can create a balance between the Japanese market and the Western market for the future releases. According to the recent photo of his packaging, Beerus is the 1st official Dragon Ball Super release in the line. It will be very interesting what logo they use for the Western releases. Specifically the United States. The release after Whis will give us more insight on Tamashii's plans. There's still the rumored updated Vegeta sculpt and Premium Color Super Saiyan 3 Goku and Perfect Cell. Releasing Premium Colors and an updated sculpt every so often gives Tamashii the time and resources to focus on Super.

There is a lot of conjecture there bud. Kai went through the Buu saga because of its popularity in the western market. This has been sourced in several interviews. As for why they are dragging their heels, that is a different issue. To say the line isn't for Kai fans, that is purely your opinion, which may or may not coincide with Tamashii's opinion. It is not a big leap to say that the popularity of the line in the west and Kai's popularity are linked. However both the Buu saga for Kai and Super have yet to come out in the west. Both movies featuring Super character however have been released. If they are going to try and boost the lines popularity in Japan, I don't doubt their focus would be on Super though, as that is what is most relevant in all of their marketing that has been shown for the franchise. I said that the line would have been cancelled if Tamashii continued to focus on the Kai fans (in Japan.) (Edited: I see what statement I said that you're arguing your point about now.) (I'm not precisely sure on how the timeline between Kai episode releases in Japan/Western market line up with the S.H. Figuarts releases in Japan/Western market so you'll have to excuse me.) The Western market labeling speaks for itself. Once the line went into web exclusivity, every Western market release has had a Dragon Ball Z sticker over the Dragon Ball Kai *label, right? I don't necessarily see how, since then, the Dragon Ball Kai fans have been the target market.

I have to disagree that Super is to the lines detriment. The line wouldn't have even existed if it hadn't been for Kai. Tamashii aren't catering these to the old DBZ fans of the 90's. They're trying to appeal the new Kai and now Super fans. It's always been about what's current. As far as why Whis is an August release, I guess they are already re-releasing Goku in June, and like many said before, July is SDCC. I wouldn't actually be surprised if we get a Beerus and Trunks re-release before the end of the year. Also, if you look at how much Tamashii are actually pumping out recently I'm actually shocked we're getting this much. We're getting Star Wars, Avengers, TMNT, Kinnikuman, Saint Seiya, Sailor Moon, Ramna 1/2, Godzilla, Kamen Rider, Ultraman just to name a few!! Tamashii are making so many fans happy right now they're knocking it out of the park!! The line would have also been cancelled if Tamashii continued to focus on the Kai fans in Japan. The line continued because of the popularity it had in the Western market. I highly doubt that was due to Kai and had more to due with the already well established Dragon Ball Z fan base. Broly's pre-orders alone, a character who was never part of the Kai series, should have been enough proof to Tamashii that the old Dragon Ball Z fans have a very significant role in collecting this line. Tamashii appealing to the new fans could potentially be history repeating itself. Even though it wouldn't be as as damaging as before, it could put them at a disadvantage with the fan base if they focus the majority of their attention on Super when Super hasn't aired in the United States and sales there are doubled that of Japan's. I have to agree with kanji, we all want the Buu figures but the other Buu saga figures seem like they did poorly, Ssj4 Goku would be awesome but GT was lackluster so if figures from the Buu saga didn't do so hot they my be more hesitant to release GT figures. DBS is really hot right now but I don't see the figures selling out like with the older Sh figuarts releases I'm not sure if that has with over production or lack of sales. I'm just happy that they are still producing the line and growing it. The Buu saga figures did poorly because they were just modded Goku figures... Im willing to bet mostly adults buy these expensive figures and we grew with DBZ... I know I will be losing interest if for the next year there are nothing but Super releases. The Buu Saga figures could have potentially sold better if their counterparts would have been released shortly after. Same.

At the very least...Whis is now out of the way. Can't argue with that. I'd just rather get the DXF version. I'm gonna display him in only one position anyway (the one hand in the back and the other holding the staff) since he barely moves nor he can move from the waist down in the figure with this big, unarticulated, dress-like thing . Unless he comes with food or some hilarious face it's just a waste of money. I honestly would have been alright with a Figuarts Zero version. I just wish they weren't saturating us with Super characters. I don't mind the Whis release since he goes with Beerus but we need a break after that. Go back to the classics at least for a little while. I'm really afraid that Super is going to put a lot of those, me specifically, who want specific classic releases at a huge disadvantage on collecting this line. It's going to make the increased releases irrelevant if they're characters that aren't very highly demanded at the moment.

5,200 yen for a figure that's going to have limited mobility?! FAWK! Did Disney buy Dragon Ball or something? Yep, same price as Trunks, except like you said he's limited so no discounts from J-stores. Hopefully this means he'll come with a lot of accessories. I meant the design of the figure would be limited but you're right about the web exclusive meaning no discounts. That's a bummer. What accessories do you think he would come with? His staff is a must. The fish oracle would be nice. Maybe some food carts or something. Curious to see how many heads he'll come with.

My initial reaction to the figure was horrible. After digesting it for a few days, I'm beginning to see a lot of potential, if done correctly, in the final stages of paint application.
I really have no problem with the lack of normal head accessory for this release. (Goku at least fought Frieza in his base form.) Luckily, Scouter Vegeta came with an extra head and other faces that could be used on this figure. Other than the hair, which I'm growing accustomed to but still feel it deserved a detailed update similar to SSGSS Goku, I'm very pleased with the rest of the sculpt. Even though this is meant to appear as a "thinner" version of Vegeta in his god form, the proportions work really well and, until I see it in person, possibly better than Scouter/Super Saiyan Vegeta.
The normal and grunting face are the stand-out faces for me. Not sure if I'm going to use the shouting face. (I think that look is slightly off.) Smirk face will be fun to display when he gut punches Golden Frieza. New set of hands are a nice accessory...not really sure what to use them for but more opportunities should be seen as a positive.

We're still missing the last version of his Super Saiyan hair, which is probably my favorite next to Bojack-film version. Was this last SS haircut from History of Trunks? Wave's response is correct. That's the Super Saiyan Trunks that defeated Imperfect Cell in his timeline.

Villains would be great. I would really like to see a Gohan/Perfect Cell Kamehameha Figuarts Zero similar to Goku/Vegeta Figuarts Zeroes from the Saiyan Saga. Which pose would you like to see Majin Vegeta in? Difficult! Maybe a figure with this evil eye. Otherwise these two poses, I would be happy. The one already existed in the DXF and HQDX! That would be the perfect Figuarts Zero! Tamashii Nations would add the electricity, aura, and even smoke effects around him. They're really good with that in their Figuarts Zeroes.

Oh man, SS3 Gotenks looks beautiful. Can't wait for him to hit stateside. What is everybody's Top 5 releases they hope to see in Figuarts Zero form? Mine would be Kuririn, Majin Boo, Tenshinhan, Beerus and Great Saiyaman Which form of Majin Buu? I would really like to see Tien in the Tri-Beam pose. What poses would you like for your choices? I would love to see Master Roshi (doing the original Kamehameha), Gohan with Z Sword, Tenshinhan, Kuririn and the World Champion Mr. Satan ( ). Master Roshi would be cool to see. I wouldn't mind Mr. Satan in Figuarts Zero form. Especially if he's posing with his cape and championship belt. Oh man, SS3 Gotenks looks beautiful. Can't wait for him to hit stateside. What is everybody's Top 5 releases they hope to see in Figuarts Zero form? For me it would be: Super Buu (Gotenks absorbed), Fat Buu, Dabura, Perfect Cell, Majin Vegeta. So somehow the evil characters. From the good characters, we have quite a few figures. Villains would be great. I would really like to see a Gohan/Perfect Cell Kamehameha Figuarts Zero similar to Goku/Vegeta Figuarts Zeroes from the Saiyan Saga. Which pose would you like to see Majin Vegeta in?

Great choice! I never would have thought about that but an Oozaru Figuarts Zero EX would be crazily great to see.
