Those "testicles" are how Toriyama used to draw the Saiyans' faces when they had their brows knitted together.
I prefer the color pallet on Premium Vegeta, but the physique is much better looking on this so ill be getting it. Plus crossed arms for pouty skulking Vegeta.

If they put some of that brown paint on the lines above the brows like the prototype had more obviously prominent, then the ruffled brow or whatever in the middle wouldn't look odd.  |

Damn if you guys are gonna trash the figure at least compare it to the OG Vegeta. The PC is the worst one imo.
Tbh, I don't see the big fuss. If you look closely you can see that the face does have sculpted and raised brows. It may just be the lighting that's giving the appearance of flatness. Also, it is A PROTOTYPE so the final product may indeed look closer to what we've seen. Even so, as is, he's still leaps and bounds above any other Vegeta release we have (barring Scouter Vegeta who is damn near perfection)

I don't think the "testicles" are a problem its just the application of that detail isn't applied neatly. There shouldn't be a W standing out when you look between the eyebrows. If they change the size or adjust it the face would look a lot better.

The only faces that should have a prominent brow are the shouting faces and they do. |

The new faces simply don't compare to the original/PCE faces. Even the SSGSS Vegeta faces are better and they also utilize the stamped on details. There's just...something off with the new faces. Also, I'm not understanding the insistence that the criticisms aren't valid because this might be a prototype. The Vegeta has the same (inaccurate to everything) pink skin that Awakening SS Goku and SS Trunks have. It's safe to say the figure shown in the review is the final version. Honestly...it isn't like Tamashii has ever pulled some sort of swerve to guarantee figures look like to the advertisements.
I'll say this much - remove the new head and replace it with a PCE head, then you have an SS Vegeta that's close to perfect (in terms of immediate visual appeal, the colors would still be off)...but you never know, Tamashii may have given this SS Vegeta a new neck peg.
(and...it occurs to me that Tamashii seems to have settled on one skin tone for releases, a skin tone that is clearly consistent, and it isn't accurate to anything. pure insanity.)

Long neck Vegeta though. Anyone else notice his neck sticks out in the most recent reveal? I'm trying to look back at the promotional pictures and it looks like he had a shorter neck. Maybe it was the angle of the pictures?

I really hope that we get Majin Vegeta soon, he is my favorite vegeta. But I guess I have to buy a temporary one. If someone has a Fighting combination Vegeta or the Bandai Vegeta I am interested.

I'm personally still looking forward to this Vegeta a lot. I really wish Tamashii would make better decisions about certain things but at the end of the day I still think its an awesome figure.

It's so confusing. Color errors on a $50 figure. Once again, this figure could have been the definitive version, but ultimately it's another release that doesn't look right with the rest of the line. And...people love it. I'll never understand that. I mean it's fine to say the sculpt is perfect, the sculpt is quite nice and it's a visually appealing figure, but to say it's perfect overall... OK. Here's what I see from the figure, compared to what I'd like to see. Something close to accurate.  Honestly, the color alone would make it easy for me to say it's "perfect"...quite frankly, I'd love to do so, again, I don't enjoy noticing mistakes and complaining about them, but I can't ignore it. |

Great correction comparison. I guess Tamashii Nation has no choice though since Vegeta has to be similar to Trunks in skin, hair, and armored color. Well ad least its a regular release.
