I would of preferred a lighter blond hair for Vegeta as the promotional picture was displaying but the reviewer prototype appears to be more orange overall when it comes to skin and hair. Found another similar facial comparison that makes me prefer what the promotional pictures were displaying the first time around. Overall the figure is still nice.  |

Tamashii got some reason to hold back on releasing a powered down head for Vegeta. Probably planning on PC Scouter Vegeta or a Buu Saga Vegeta. At least they included crossed arms. Honestly they should include crossed arms for every Vegeta release |

Not gonna get him. I'll keep my Premium Color one. Mind if I ask why you prefer the Premium Color Super Saiyan Vegeta over this one? Tamashii got some reason to hold back on releasing a powered down head for Vegeta. Hopefully they're redesigning it to fit or look similar to the newer Super Saiyan Vegeta. As much as I like Scouter Vegeta, he's very baby faced. The face sculpt works really for a Saiyan and Namek Saga Vegeta. Maybe even early Android Saga. Not so much after he came out of the Hyperbolic Time Chamber. |

They screwed up his face way too bad, what the f*ck happened? I hope he is just a prototype just like the SSGSS Vegeta. I dont think they will improve him though since they showed the box.

angelo2113 I mean it's not that bad, but i think that the face it's not that much improved on the final product and i don't like too much that crotch articulation on this kind of spandex suit, this type of articulation looks better in baggy clothes like Goku wears, already have the premium one so i don't see any need to spend 50$ more bucks on a tiny figure that similar. And i don't collect every single figure of this line anymore, i prefer to focus on statues.

I understand why some people wouldn't want this Vegeta. The figure from the review is different from the one previously shown. They are both prototypes though. I do prefer the one revealed though. If the one that was reviewed does happen to be the one we all see in hand, then I am still on board. He still does look awesome and will look awesome next to armored Trunks. That's just me though. I just got the PC version a few months ago just so I could have SS Vegeta without spending $150 or more. This one does look better in my opinion. I will still end up getting him even though I don't feel as hyped as before.

Yuh wtf lol the reveal looked better. This one looks like a upgraded Pc vegeta which was crappy anyways compared to the first release. Kind of dissapointed. Still going to get it though. sigh

Something about vegetas face looks off. The prototypes faces looked Great but the early review of him doesnt look good to me Not only did they downgrade him, but they degraded him and put a set of testicles between his eyes.. |

That's Tamashii for you folks. They've always done this. The prototypes are hand sculpted, hand painted for promotional art and exhibitions.
The final product is machine manufactured in bulk with minimal human intervention for minor assembly, paint applications and QA. This was part of the reason I didn't like the early Figuarts Zero line. Especially for One Piece. The final product just sucked in comparison.
At the end of the day though it's still a good product so I will get it. Just always a shame when you see the potential wasted.

This is all that I needed to hear to skip this one!! On a serious note, you're right, they have completely screwed up the forehead expression (even though it's a prototype)!  Also, does anyone find his ears to be weird? Way too much of detailing in it? |

I collect a lot of statues as well so I can see why the crotch articulation would be off putting. As much as I enjoy the Premium Color Super Saiyan Vegeta, this newer Super Saiyan Vegeta is superior in almost every way for me. Specifically the resemblance of the character.  |
