Toei seems to have a solid list of official colors that are now used in all forms of Dragon Ball media (with the exception of blue hair Future Trunks). I feel as if DBZ should be disregarded as reference material due to the litany of inconsistencies (and since it seems certain color schemes have been retconned). All the new material has greater color consistency and if they relied on that the line as a whole could be pretty great.
Actually, never mind anime accuracy. Just ignore all official sources and give me consistency within the line. Give me Goku figures that aren't drastically different compared to the last release (ex., SS Goku, SS3 Goku). Give the figures appropriate skin tones and don't suddenly change them. Give me new SS Trunks and SS Vegeta figures that have the same colors seen on the web exclusive SS Vegeta. For some reason, that's too much to ask for. As it stands I just don't think the new version is better. It has updated articulation and a better sculpt, sure, but...ugh...I don't know. no point in venting about it, people love it, pink skin and purple suit be damned, and I'm well aware people are sick of me coming on here and venting.

It's so confusing. Color errors on a $50 figure. Once again, this figure could have been the definitive version, but ultimately it's another release that doesn't look right with the rest of the line. And...people love it. I'll never understand that. I mean it's fine to say the sculpt is perfect, the sculpt is quite nice and it's a visually appealing figure, but to say it's perfect overall... OK. Here's what I see from the figure, compared to what I'd like to see. Something close to accurate.  Honestly, the color alone would make it easy for me to say it's "perfect"...quite frankly, I'd love to do so, again, I don't enjoy noticing mistakes and complaining about them, but I can't ignore it. You made him look like he has hepatitis but I see where youre going also GUYS!!!! I just saw a SDCC GOHAN UNOPENED SELL FOR 71 F*CKING DOLLARS IN AN EBAY AUCTION!!!!!!!!!!!!! Could it be because of the new battle damaged gohan? |

I based it off of an anime still (I'll post it below) and the skin color Tamashii was using on the web exclusive figures.  |

I think you need to modify your pic just a little bit... He looks like Sheamus. PC Vegeta doesn't have a pale skin, contrary to popular belief. It's due to the lighting of cameras that makes it look super pale. The pic on the previous page gives the figures it's correct hue, so I am assuming it also makes the new Vegeta look accurate to how it would when you have it on your hands.... Which makes me believe that the skin tone is not bad on the new figure, it actually looks pretty close to the PC Vegeta's skin tone. Or I could be blind when it comes to these sort of stuff, could happen.  |

It's not that bad. Again, I changed the color values to make the skin match the skin tone seen on the past few web exclusive figures and to make it somewhat close to the color scheme used in Dragon Ball Super. one more pic to show the skin isn't all that pale, this time with black hair.  No but the PCE SS Vegeta skin has a bit too much red bias where it should be geared more towards yellow. In all fairness, it looks OK and you can just say it has somewhat lighter skin because he's in his super saiyan form. The new figures...to me, it looks they are all sun burned.You really can't find any stills in any media that would justify the pink tone Tamashii has been using. that and saiyans are supposed to have yellow skin according to the Daizenshuu...and the web exclusives (Goku, Vegetto, Ultimate Gohan) were all made with plastic that looks close to yellow skin. OK everyone, I apologize for endlessly ranting about this, I know I'm beating a dead horse. It's just difficult for me to accept flaws on expensive figures that aren't compatible with everything I've already bought. A small part of me hopes this ranting might accomplish something one day. Maybe the impossible will happen and Tamashii will change the plastic colors on future re-issues. That faint delusional hope gives me enough motivation to rant. |

Have you been showing Tamashii Nations your photos, timone317? If you want your voice to be heard, sending them your examples on social media with others agreeing would be best rather than ranting on a forum. |

I was thinking the same thing too, he should summit it to Tamashii Nations as they are quite good points rather than rant on it here, but Tamashii won't care from I heard how they are. And small odds that they will read his posts on this forum too. |

It seems like we'll finally be getting the crossed arms for Vegeta from now on and more accessories in general! Love that they'll be doing more 2.0's and adding more females too. The future looks really good for this line 😊

I may make a video for my (essentially worthless) YouTube channel in the future. It's hard to say for sure, I have many things to worry about and can't treat producing videos as a priority (especially since I don't have a quality camera)...but I think that would be a good solution. It would be a review of the entire line covering consistency/accuracy and minor complaints regarding each release and what I think could have been done/can be done to improve the figures (a good opportunity to showcase Photoshop edits). A simple tweet or Facebook won't suffice, it will be lost the same day I post it. A video would stand out more and remain visible on YouTube. - - - The interview is quite interesting, I'll be looking forward to the poll. |

Hyped for next year after watching that interview. Pretty understandable that Tamashii Nations has a lot of different IP models to display and such but after hearing that basically any saga goes for next year is crazy. Time to save up that Zeni.
