The lighting def plays into it but his glossy hair still kills me inside if only for the fact it doesn't match Goku's. If Vegeta got gloss, Goku should've had it too and vice versa for matte

That's SDCC Goku so no. They can't re-release SDCC exclusives. They could always do a PC version of him though or make a manga release.

Keep in mind the final product may look different still. Looks like theyre still displaying a prototype version to me, so while the final product may still look glossy, it may end up still looking better.

The only negative thing I can say about that Vegeta is he's too skinny, but that's because of Toriyama's crappy modern design style, not because of Tamashii's scultping.

Everyone chill out, it's the lighting of the picture + it still may be a prototype for all we know... We can only judge once we have it on our hands...
Although I still do think they should have re-done the hair and not used the old mold.

That's the biggest flaw of the PC's since they stand out and don't match at all with any other of the releases. |

Gloss (most of the time) just makes figures look bad. Look at the Out Da Box review of Beerus. Sure it's an early prototype but gosh it looks horrible.

Why did they change Trunks' hair? It was perfect as is. The body doesn't go with that hair. When his hair was like that, he looked like he was on steroids, so the entire figure isn't even accurate. Hopefully they go back to the ponytail Super Saiyan hair.
