Well, so for the last few weeks I'm having doubts on continuing the figuarts line, I'll probably move into statues by banpresto and more. I'll still continue getting figures I really want like Beerus and that armored Trunks (not that I like this look so much, but I LOVE the new articulation) and maybe even PC SS Vegeta, if they won't end up announcing any new articulation Vegeta anytime soon. I might end up selling few figures I don't have a lot of intrest into like Vegetto/Broly etc. but I am waiting for them to go up in price a little bit before It might be hard, because that line is what got me into collecting, and what helped me keep my DB love alive, but I gotta leave it for several reasons. Just wanted to share Figuarts are extremely overated anyway. For those who couldnt care less about articulation there are tons of DB figures that are waaaaay more screen accurate than Figuarts and look 10 times better. I sold all my SHF a while ago and dont miss em so if you start collecting statues I dont think you'll regret it. Overrated comparing to other articulated DBZ lines? Like who? Jakks? Irwin? They are currently the best 1/12 DBZ action figures out there and you can't really compare a statue to an articulated figure, gotta compare apples to apples. Btw, not trying to throw shade, just saiyan

I agree with darksenshi. They are much too expensive. For me this S.H.Figuarts look like toys for children or teenagers. Ok, I was 20-30 years younger I would have bought it immediately. Because at that time I had also articulation figures (for example, G.I. Joe) Yes at the time, I and my friends had such figures, and we had our fights with the figures, or I played alone in my room. For the younger among you I understand. But I'm out of this age. I myself have children which is now play with such figures and I just collect only sculptures (HQDX, Scultures, Resin, etc ...) I put them in cabinets, look at them again and again, and finished! That's just my opinion! Finally, everyone should collect what he wants! Have fun continue collecting S.H.Figuarts! Greetings from an old grandpa

Even in the post you quoted I said "for those who couldnt care less about articulation". No shade received bro.

I seemed to have missed that disclaimer, my bad! Just that I see people knocking the line and unfairly comparing so I just assumed it was the same case here! I actually had the same dilemma as gotenks a while back and couldn't decide if I wanted to solely collect statues or figures. At the end of it all, I decided to go the more expensive route and collect both You can't really go wrong either way since both have their pros and cons.

When you step back to think about it, no matter what you prefer, we are all very lucky to have so many options on Dragon Ball Z collectibles today.

That's true. I'm always astonished by the sheer amount of different Dragonball products that are being produced.

Just think about the humble beginnings this line had and where it is now. I knew it would reach Kamen Rider levels eventually and that time is now

What's wrong with the boots on awakening Goku? They're manga accurate, their is nothing to fix. Yeah ok, "fixed" was the wrong word. It's not even something that bothers me either, that's why I sarcastically suggested it as a likely SDCC this year...

Having started collecting articulated "action figures" over 10 years ago (early Kaiyodo, Max Factory, Medicom RAH, Super Action Statue), I moved away for these and began to exclusively collect fix posed PVC's for almost 5 years (Excellent Model, Ichiban Kuji, MSP, Scultures, Figuarts Zero, etc.) Then recently I've fallen back in love with articulation. I feel disconnected from my fixed poses and found myself boxing them all back up again to make space for new "action/diorama" displays

Anyone know where you can get a background display, like Namek or earth from the anime? I've looked all over and nothing yet.....

Someone needs to go the Tamashii factories and destroy all of their gloss supply. I don't know why they insist on doing that to their figures.
