Oh well, excuse me, I didn't care to take your selfishness into consideration.  And I'm sorry I didn't take your lack of funds into consideration. Maybe you should collect something a little cheaper eh buddy? If you can't spring an extra $100 on a figure you really want then this seriously isn't for you. Oh, we're talking money now, eh? You bringing out the "big boy" arguments? Funding is no problem for me. The majority of the collecting community not being able to gain access to one and Tamashii's lack of potential profit on the other hand would be a problem. Why would Tamashii release 3 of the most demanded figures and limit them to a SDCC Exclusive? That not only screws over the collecting community, which Tamashii seems to respect very well, but also screws themselves over from having the budget to increase their resources regarding the line. Have a nice day. if you read my above post you'd see that I am not suggesting an exclusive release of those three figures. Merely hoping for an interesting alternate of ONE, that in no way bars the regular release of that same figure. I.e... Arlia Nappa vs Regular Nappa. Just seeing what others were hoping or thinking for the SDCC, and you decided to make my statement into something it wasn't. Not here to argue with self appointed tamashii figure police, chill and take it elsewhere. |

I wouldn't be surprised to see anime Ultimate Gohan as the SDCC Exclusive. I can't see Goku or Vegeta since they've been the past 2 years.

Anything goes at this point ever since last year. Throwing PC's into the mix, this years exclusive could be anything. While PC's aren't technically marketed as anime repaints, SDCC could still be used for that but let's just hope it's not another retool of a high demand character. A simple belt and addition of kanji means a lot for this line.

Well, so for the last few weeks I'm having doubts on continuing the figuarts line, I'll probably move into statues by banpresto and more. I'll still continue getting figures I really want like Beerus and that armored Trunks (not that I like this look so much, but I LOVE the new articulation) and maybe even PC SS Vegeta, if they won't end up announcing any new articulation Vegeta anytime soon. I might end up selling few figures I don't have a lot of intrest into like Vegetto/Broly etc. but I am waiting for them to go up in price a little bit before  It might be hard, because that line is what got me into collecting, and what helped me keep my DB love alive, but I gotta leave it for several reasons. Just wanted to share |

SDCC... yeah since Namek Goku and the PC's, it's completely up in the air what they can do. Lol a Battle of Gods style SS Gohan in orange is totally on the table. Or even better, Anime Awakening Goku with fixed boots.

SDCC isn't until July 21st, so it's still a little way off yet. Hell, Tamashii haven't even announced Summer Collection 2016 yet, but we can expect it will be the end of May.
In the meantime the Jump and Tamashii websites/magazines will probably be the best place to get our news from. I expect we'll get an update next month regarding the next release.
We're up to July for regular releases now, (For LIMITED's we're already at August/September with Kinnikuman, Turtles, etc.)
Expect a reg release in July/August/September and the next LIMITED in October.........

For those who couldnt care less about articulation there are tons of DB figures that are waaaaay more screen accurate than Figuarts and look 10 times better. I sold all my SHF a while ago and dont miss em so if you start collecting statues I dont think you'll regret it. |

As much as I wanna be a hater and disagree with you (which I do secretly ), it's kinda true.... They are pretty overrated, which isn't really a bad thing but it is true. |

Those statues are incredible! I prefer the smaller scale because all I have is two shelves that I use for my entire collection (I don't like having a ton of stuff), and I like having the ability to use your own creativity to set up poses. Although, I'm sure it's so much easier to dust statues since you don't have to worry about getting them back in the pose you want. I'm also going to be downsizing my collection to Gokus and Vegetas because that's all I can afford and all I have the space for now because I'm starting to collect some of the Mezco One:12 scale figures. Thanks @baneofdemon22 I appreciate the compliment but dont get me wrong I used to collect figuarts hard core. yahoo image search my username darksenshi for an example of my old collection. The main reason I stopped collecting DB Figuarts and Figuarts in general is because Tamashii is so slow at releasing characters it will be the year 2096 before we get all the characters we want(if at all). Then I discovered new lines and better looking representations of the Dragonball characters which is number one to me. I used to love posing my figures as well but now I customize statues to do what I want them to do lol. Also the prices I hear people paying for these figures are ridiculous. That's the main reason I said they were overrated. I understand some people have a space issue but 150~200 dollars for one of these figures is definitely not worth it to me. DB figuarts are the best articulated DB figures ever created but in my personal opinion they are not the ultimate dragon ball figures. But everyone's collection's are all badass in their own way whether big or small. |

My Awakening Gokus right feet/boot doesnt really stay on and the left side swings around like its making a tornado lol |
