I just found this topic and I must say I'm actually pretty excited for these. My gf and I collect these POP!s, right now we have around 20 of them so I will definitely be picking these up.

I really hope they release a Dragonball line like IF Labs used to produce, I haven't bought any DB stuff since Irwin lost the license except for that one Jakks invader 2 pack. Imo, everything since then has been too small, too complicated, and too expensive for the quality, I mean currently if you want some recent old school DB figures, you have to settle for gashapon. I'd rather Neca get the license, but this should be just as good.

I bought my very first Funko POP figure about 2 weeks ago, it was The Walking Dead Riot Gear Zombie. I was so impressed with it, I purchased 5 more POP figures from the Walking Dead line. Needless to say, I will be purchasing all of these when released.

I emailed Funko Pop 2 years ago for Dragon Ball pieces in their bobble and figurine lineup. However, they disregarded my initial message as they are pumping out a random set featuring Frieza, Cell, Vegeta, Piccolo, and Goku. I had asked them to make Frieza's elites along with Frieza but they prefer to release the major players before going into detail with the franchise. But since 2 years passed after my initial email, they may pump out other characters in the near future. I'm very disappointed with the funko pop lineup right now. It's mainly due to the fact that they only pump out the primary characters and don't focus on everyone else. This destroys the chances of any full collection of dbz folk on their part. For example, they pumped out about 100 versions of The Joker and Deadpool... but there are a few hundred characters from each verse that don't even have a single version of a funko pop piece. this is why they suck as of now.

They're mainly just paint job differentials [shiny, glow in the dark, etc.] or like you said, hair differentials. They should just make specific characters exclusive at Hot Topic instead of those minor differences to the same pieces and call them exclusives. |

They are out now I just picked up SS Goku, Perfect Cell, Vegeta, and regular Goku. Check your local hot topic they are only recieving small amounts for some reason. I still need Piccolo and Frieza.
