It looks like Funko is going to be producing figures from DragonBall Z for their POP! line. They recently released info before the holidays about what to expect from them in 2014. "Pop! Ok a couple more…Hannibal the Tv Series…True Blood TV series!!!…another World of Warcraft set of 4!…a new series of Beauty and the Beast(with Lumierre, Cogsworth, Mrs Potts, Peasant Belle) and Dragon Ball Z." Funko makes great stuff; definitely great news that the company is interested in the franchise. I do hope that the line-up wont be the usual Goku, Vegeta, Piccolo etc - since than they will just blend in with the crowd of hundred of other figures of those characters. If they will have some more less-used characters like Raditz, Saibamen maybe Frieza or some movie villains like Cooler or Turles, than I might pick some up. Keep as updated cracker  |

If they will have some more less-used characters like Raditz, Saibamen maybe Frieza or some movie villains like Cooler or Turles, than I might pick some up. I hope so, too. Although, it probably will be just the top tier characters. Funko POP! started releasing vehicles, like the '66 Batmobile and announced the Ghostbusters' Ecto-1. If the DBZ line gets popular enough, it'd be cool to see things like Frieza with his hoverchair, Goku/chibi Gohan on Kintoun, Saiyan Space Pod with Raditz/Nappa/Vegeta/Bardock. |

I love dbz vehicles. If they will truly release vehicles; I would love for the Nameless namekian spacecraf, Goku spacecraf from Namek, any vehicle from DB like the RR tanks\cars\planes.

Can't say I'm a big fan of Funko figures; they just don't have an appealing design to me. That being said, I am curious to see which DBZ characters they will unveil. I nearly bought in to their MOTU line, so if the DBZ series is good this could be what pushes me over and makes me buy some of these damn things.

agreed, we need more 5 inch lines! i thought by now theyd release some seeing how popular db kai is. i still find it amazing that theres still no 5 inch yamcha figure after many lines (jakks, irwin, sbc, bandai, etc)

I dont like Funko AT ALL, i hear people say the figures are "cute" but i have seen 1 out of maybe all 100000 of the different ones that looked even appealing to me and i still dont like it. even mighty muggs look better.

I don't know what the vehicles look like but I do remember seeing a Krillin custom figure on eBay made from one of these and it was relisted over and over and over because nobody wants these things. I only want characters that look like the characters, not "interpretations".
