The Funimation dub of DB is so, so, so good. I think there's another dub for the first few episodes, but I don't know what it's called. One of them (can't remember which) edited out the perverse things between Goku and Bulma from the first 2 or 3 episodes. Things like Bulma's butt cheeks while flashing Roshi, peeing down her legs when she's on the cliff, and the famous patting scene looking for balls...  Cap, the first few episodes of DBGT are hard to watch in ANY language. It's a miserable time, but hang in there, because eventually GT episodes improve to being just slightly worse than the very worst episode of DBZ . Pretty sure the first episode that doesn't completely suck is the one where Goten is on a date with Valese. LOL trust me, I've got 100% of the show's perviness intact, and it's hilarious. I can't believe I didn't watch this show first. I'm absolutely in love with it. Oh, and Aussiedcfan, I fully intend to! I just want to watch the original series first. |

yeah, I like db better than dbz. if there were more figures of it, I would collect it more. it's very difficult putting together a collection of figures for db... I've been trying for years. but anyway, db is nice because there are only a few episodes that aren't that great and they are only toward the very end of the series. I guarantee you'll be wondering wtf you're watching when you get to terror and plague though lol.
inuyasha is kind of like db in one way, and that's that the first few episodes are a bit more sexual than the rest of the series.

I think your DB collection is still great Bran. I'm actually thinking of picking up the DB sets as all I have is the movie collection at the moment.

I think Dragon Ball is excellent throughout the entire series. I love how grounded the fights are and the variety strategies Goku uses to fight. It was what made Goku my all time favorite fictional character. His never ceasing joyful attitude, never ceases to amaze me! I get bored a lot of times watch Dragon Ball Z, especially during the Saiyan and Freeza sagas. However, at it's peaks blow anything out of the water to me, which puts it over for me. Artistically, I think it's far more imaginative as well. I just started watching Dragon Ball in Japanese and I love it even more than the English version. It's going to be the fourth time I watched the series this year!

I've been searching awhile to get a really good kid/teen Goku figure. If a figuarts one is made, it would make me so happy!

Thanks a lot sir! I looked it up and it's around $70 on both amazon and eBay. I would really like one resembling the older art style. I've been looking at various versions and the best ones are very expensive. The Jakks and IF Labs Goku are pretty good. |

Do you discover these on TV first Gonstead? We have such crap on TV here when it comes to new anime and cartoons unless you have Pay TV which opens up the choices with Cartoon Network, Boomerang and Nickelodeon.
