Do you discover these on TV first Gonstead? We have such crap on TV here when it comes to new anime and cartoons unless you have Pay TV which opens up the choices with Cartoon Network, Boomerang and Nickelodeon. Nah, I've hear about a lot of anime nowadays via word of mouth on the internet and on various forums. And yeah, we do indeed have pretty crap TV, especially when we are so far behind all the American programming we import.

Good ol Brandon heat it's crazy to think that the game actually inspired the anime or at least that's what I think I remember hearing. Gungrave is a pretty good anime I own the complete box set but havent watched it since I bought it many many many moons ago. Ocassionally I'll dig through my old anime and rewatch something I forgot I had which is the case with baccono. The main reason I picked baccono was because it's short and I haven't seen it in a while. Its such a great anime the main story is 13 episodes long but there are 3 additional episodes that help tie up some loose ends witch are hard to find if u dont outright own the dvd. I highly recommend watching the funimation dub and I know cap will want to kill me for saying that as he hates fun dubs But the voice acting is top notch and they use a bunch voice actors I've never heard of in it. The jokes and silly banter between 2 of the main characters really only comes through on the sub version. This anime has just about everything I like in anime a great story hilarious characters and plenty of good ol violence that actually helps u understand some of well let's just say more deranged characters. If u haven't watched. It I encourage everyone to do so.

I just bought the Yokoso Anime releases of Bleach, Naruto and One Piece to see if I might like the shows. I love how each comes with a small guide book to the show.

Is anyone else excited for Space Dandy? It's a new show from the crew behind Cowboy Bebop and a bunch of other popular anime series, and it's going to be the first anime series to be broadcast simultaneously worldwide. It has a lot of similarities to Bebop, such as the jazz music and art style. The story also follows an intergalactic bounty hunter like CB. The show starts in January and here in the US it'll be shown on Toonami.

Hmmm...I like the sound of it being broadcast nationwide but the show itself seems a bit...hm. I might check it out if I remember it.

Just bought the complete set of Death Note. It was on sale so I thought what the heck.
EDIT: Watched the One Piece movie and it wasn't really to my taste. Nowhere near as much as Bleach. That I really liked.

I don't care much for one piece at all, I did however catch a few episodes of attack on titan, and I was actually impressed. Thoughts following after: more crap to buy
