I liked Detective Conan when he was on Cartoon Network. I had no idea it was so long though. I figured it was 40 episodes maximum.

Too bad we'll never see those episodes in English over here in the states. Here's hoping Attack on Titan gets one soon.

Discussing all the other cartoons over in the other thread suddenly made me remember one I used to watch all the time but it turns out it is an anime, Samurai Pizza Cats. I loved this show as a kid but had completely forgotten about it. And the cool thing is it is actually coming out on DVD here in October

The only anime shows i watched were Dragon ball and Inuyasha. i mostly dont like other animes, i tried one piece and naruto and didn't like them. i also really liked the Princess Mononoke movie. i started to watch Berserk recently, it's great. I'm going to get this Figma figure when it comes out in 2 months.

Dang Figma make some awesome looking figures. I would buy that without ever seeing the show lol. I'd love to get their Golgo 13 Duke Togo figure but his price has skyrocketed.

Last Saturday the gf and I re-watched both Vampire Hunter D's, Ninja Scroll and Twilight of the Dark Master. as far as a series goes, we recently started Kenichi: The Mightiest Disciple on Netflix; but we're only two episodes into it so far.

Are both the Vampire Hunter D movies self contained stories or do you need to watch both? Love Ninja Scroll BTW

They're self contained; the first being far superior to the second in my opinion. I haven't read any of the manga so I don't know how close or far off any of the movie content is.

I never could get into Inuyasha. It was always "Dragon Ball Z for girls" to me (no offense to anyone). But Ruroni Kenshin, now that's another matter!
