You guys are funny. I'd steal the head off the new one and give BrownDynomite the old head if he likes the old one better in a heartbeat. I like the pinker hair, smoother bangs, and smaller irises in the eyes. Brown, if you prefer the other head, you're welcome to have it instead, just let me know. Great Work So Far On Your Customs Bran. how much do you charge for a custom Depends what I'm doing, but usually $50+. It doesn't really matter anymore though, because I'm not going to be doing any more commissions after a few others I am still working on (I've had some of Dark Gohan 's figures for over a year  ) and a few others I have already agreed to possibly do. I'd rather focus on building my collection since I make a lot more money at my real job than what ends up being about $5 an hour doing customs.  |

I like both heads/faces. So I'm happy(real happy) with the way he's turning out. Please, keep the face/head you made for me on. Thanks. I know he's suppose to be leaner, but I just wanted mine to look a lil different. So IMO, he's coming out perfect. |

Well banpresto Piccolo came in the mail today and I am already changing things on him to make him to scale. The Frieza is quite small, but the best close to 5 inch Frieza in his pod. Going to have to do some work on him.

I can't believe I'm starting another Piccolo custom, but when I saw this DX Piccolo for so cheap on ebay, and noticed how perfectly his enormous arms look just like Piccolo in Cell Saga... I had to have him. I didn't know his head would be so damn small, that I'd have to lengthen his arms, he had no neck basically at all, or that I'd have to give him larger feet. I also didn't know that these DX figures' articulation is really lame! The swivel stuff all works, but the elbows and knees barely bend at all... like... they barely move. And what's the point of having the swivel on the legs when the hips aren't ball jointed and the ankles weren't articulated? The only thing I can think of is it allows you to turn his leg sideways so he looks better dead, lying on the ground. You suck at articulated figures Banpresto! I plan on resculpting this Jakks head and I still need to work on the pants more and sculpt some shoulders. I carved the arms this morning instead of doing my morning workout. I also articulated the head and hands. I don't want to do this custom, but I'll do it, and I don't think it is going to take very long.  Frieza is, well, annoying. The pod is not too out of scale, but I'm going to have to add a layer of custom sculpting to make it larger looking like the HG one next to him. I suppose that is okay. I had this extra Real Works Frieza I wasn't using for anything, but it's the version without armor on, so I'm going to have to sculpt that from scratch. The stand for the pod is really ugly. Why it isn't made of clear plastic and looks like a pizza thing I don't know. Maybe I'll be able to use some of the parts from the small Frieza for Chilled when I make him one day. Regardless, I am happy to have a pod I don't have to make completely from scratch and I just happened to have basically exactly what parts I needed to have to make both of these customs without having to sacrifice anything or buy anything else. I'm really disappointed though that I'm having to make them! |

More customs to the list. At least the Piccolo and pod are salvageable. Idk why, but your DX Piccolo looks smaller than mine. I gave him bigger shoes and raised his head and it was all I needed to do to make him to scale. His head looks really good IMO, better than the one you made next to him. The pod is bigger than I thought it would be, but the Frieza it came with is definitely too small. Maybe the smaller head on the RW body would be better? As for armor, have fun sculpting that.

Frieza looks promising! I like the pod, the armor sculpt... Not gonna be easy lol. Piccolo looks very good as well!

I would put the Piccolo aside for now and concentrate on Frieza as that would be the more interesting one. Either way they will end up looking great. BTW I didn't even know Banpresto made articulated figures lol.

Just trying to knock everything out quickly. Jackie Chun looks done but I am likely going to shorten him down to 4.5" scale so he looks good with my DB collection I am trying to build.

I feel like I haven't complained enough about white Apoxie Sculpt on here yet  . I can't wait to be out of this crap! I want some pink Sculpt so I can actually see what I'm doing and not have so much of it stick to my fingers. Piccolo's face was very hard to work on since I can't really tell what is happening with the white, particularly on the eyebrows. I did more work on everything this morning, but not enough to post another redundant photo. Nobody wants to guess who little green is going to be? |
