It seems a recent Smash Bros. leak turned out to be true, here's the final roster ( or part of the final roster if the new leak info turns out to be true).  Shame that Wolf and Snake are out and there wasn't a second Sonic character added but this seems to be a very nice roster. I just wish they'd be willing to add future characters through DLC. |

I saw this all over allisbrawl and Smashboards. Its real for sure but I still have a hunch that a couple more characters will be revealed because it only sits at 48 characters, I mean c'mon just two more for 50! These leaks are legit but they may still have left out a couple more. Just my opinion.

I've been following that leak for awhile now back when it was just text/pictures, and saw the videos before they were removed thankfully. Here's a bunch of leaked pics: imgur.com/a/PzeCw#s8WYgs5And one of the leakers said these were the remaining characters: Mewtwo, Mach Rider, Impa, Dixie, and Ridley. If that's true, then besides no King K. Rool, this roster is pretty much perfect. Only cut I really care about is Wolf, but I can easily see him being added as DLC. They kept Olimar?! Olimar?!? Have to say if this is the official roster, it's pretty disappointing Olimar was revealed over a year ago lol. He's from a great series and is unique and popular, so why would he be cut? I agree with you about it being disappointing if those pictures are the final roster, but I'm thinking there's still some secret characters due to the bottom 2 rows not being filled and due to the odd character placement. Like the 3 clones at the bottom not being with their series and Yoshi in between the Mario series when normally he's considered his own series. |

I'm pretty happy with the roster from the leaked pics, even if it is the final/full roster. I was hoping for more playable Zelda characters though, like Aghanim, Zant, Darunia, Fierce Deity Link, hell, even ol' Ghirahim woulda made sense being that's he's the most recent main villain. Ohshi, I take that back, they shoulda put DEMISE in it!
Also, I don't think they should ever remove characters from each installment, only add them. Idc about Ice Climbers, but why the hell aren't they in there? Same goes for Wolf, idc about him, but why?

Wow, I didn't realize Olimar was already announced lol. I never really used Olimar so I probably ignored him until now. I just think there are much better characters instead of Olimar taking up a slot.
Ridley and Dixie would be awesome! Mewtwo making his comeback would be sick. It really does suck that Wolf didn't make it in as he was my favorite/best character in Brawl. Characters as DLC would be a really cool idea though. I really hope they implement that in this game but wouldn't they have done that in Brawl already? Still hoping for an extra sonic character. Knuckles and/or Shadow would suffice.

I'm not too crazy about saving characters to be DLC. New attires or stuff like that is cool, but I kinda like the idea of there being a finality to the roster when the game comes out. I don't wanna pay $50 for the game, then $50 more down the line to get all the character they shoulda just put in from the get go. This goes for any game too. The only exception to this would be third-party characters as DLC, that would be fine imo.
But damn, if they release a Zelda character DLC pack later... I'm a hypocrite.
Still don't like the idear of it.

I also hate the thought of paying more but I'm the same way, if I see some sort of Fierce Deity skin for Link I'm coughing up the cash. Eh...but DLC may be wishful thinking.
As for the extra characters...I'll believe it when I see it....but man...Mewtwo would more than make up for the loss of Wolf.
