Only on the power attacks do you have to do some movement. The rest is just remote for attacks and nunchuck for movement.

You can play with a Gamecube controller on the Wii for BT3. The Wii-mote is minimally fun imo, and using buttons is just much faster and more accurate. Idk how many times I've lost to the computer because the motions didn't register.

I am finding that but I am still having fun with the motions at the moment I just have to remember to wear my opponent down before trying them lol.

I'm not a very big fan of motion controls.

I've always wondered but can you use the Gamecube controller wireless or do you have to have it plugged in?

You can use either the Wavebird wireless controller or the wired one.

Yeah, I use the Wavebird, I sold my wired controllers when I sold my Gamecube.
The motion controls work really well in some games, like LoZ: Skyward Sword (even though it's Wii Motion Plus which is more accurate). The sword moves almost 1 to 1. But in other games like Donkey Kong Country Returns, there's stupid little motions you have to do which just slow the pace of the game imo. Motion control works better in mini-game style games imo.

Yeah, I don't really mind motion controls as much when they're done right, but I hate when they're tacked on for no reason like in DKCR. That game would have been perfectly fine without them.

That decapitation pic is freaky. I love when you get some gore in a game. Always turn on blood effects if you can

I should really look at getting a Super Smash Bros game for my Wii.
