Not interest in posed figure. The shf Armored Broly is fine for me if it's not bigger than dragon stars ss Broly. I can only found one video for this Styling Broly, but the buyer didn't show it with other figures. The video mention the Broly is around 13cm tall. And I just measured the height of the box at a toys store, it's 13.2cm. I got nothing who asked above except real works and Sofvi figures so I took pictures of it. Here are the real works I keep for my collection.
I can only found this kid Gohan without head at the moment, and the mirai gohan I already made it into something else.
Overall they're 1 inch shorter than Irwin/Jakks, but the Kid Gohan and Saibaman are still good. Here are the Sofvi I keep. Overall they're close to shf scale more than Irwin/Jakks. The Krillin and kid Gohan are still good for Irwin/Jakks.
(I turn my Krillin into future kid Trunks but I already lost it) The company that I can name from Taobao keep making new figures are League, Jacksdo, Demoniacal Fit and Class E Adventurer. League only make wcf.
Although their Malaka and fat&skinny Gotenks may be good for Irwin/Jakks
but I don't want to spend more than usd $30 for one wcf.
Btw, his Malaka remind me to give my custom a neck.
Something I catch recently, from left to right: (1)Class E is new to me. I bought that throne of King Piccolo when I knew it's not resin.
It's for shf but the shf King Piccolo is too huge.
Assume you make a custom King Piccolo from dragon stars or shf Piccolo, this throne is still good for it.
(2)Saw a prototype of a Frog Face when I had a walk at a store. No idea where's it come from.
It's a little big for Irwin/Jakks. I guess I'll cut out its head and make it into Sui.
(3)The heads of this Gashapon is the same size of cp, a little small but still good for customs. (4)The size will be better for Irwin/Jakks if you put the heads of bootleg adverge on the same bigger bootleg. (5)Look like no bootleg for the meta-cooler and it's better than my custom so I have to bought one before it's too late.
I assume this is a solid figure but it's plastic models actually.
Two pieces of models stick together for less than 35 cents at cost but sell you more than 35 bucks.

Great post CMAK! Yeah, the Real Works Saibaman, kid Gohan, Videl, and Frieza form 1 are all pretty good options for 5 inch scale. I haven't seen that Malaka unlicensed WCF before. I don't really like it. It looks weird to me. It doesn't look anime style. That frogface looks incredible! How much did it cost you? Did the seller have more? It does look like it would make a great Sui! I like your idea with the Adverge bootlegs. Are the bodies you are using the Adverge bootlegs that come on black colored bases? I am assuming they are. The Meta Cooler looks really disappointing. I haven't seen one from that angle before. It looks really cheap... And it's very expensive. The best I have seen one for is $65 on ebay...

There's only one Frog Face at the store and it's especially cheap,
cost me only around usd$10, but other stuff are expensive,
I saw a prototype of dwc Appule cost $40.
Yeah... only two different bootlegs of Adverge, wcf size with red bases or bigger size with black bases.
Upa, kid Piccolo and Pan are good for wcf size.
For the others, bigger bodies will be better .
Btw, still waiting for the heads of wcf size from Broly movie's Adverge bootleg.
Hope that these Adverge bootlegs will keep going on. Some heads from League can be use for customs but they're a little expensive. Honestly, the characters they picked is better than wcf. Wcf feel like a kind of losing direction. Same character keep repeating and they like to put the characters from totally different saga into same set, even waste a series for Frieza in business suit or Vegeta making takoyaki.

Just take a search of League on Taobao, Gotenks is one of the early release and sold out everywhere now.
Another early release Launch still available though. Most of the seller selling Cell and Buu now.
I saw a lot of League Goz & Mez last time but all sold out too.
Some of these just fried off the shelf. I don't even see that Goku before but it already sold out.
Ok...I should stop talking something off topic.

Those are very interesting and cool!
I keep waiting for news from Bandai America, but the pandemic delays everything, but what I have heard from them (in what little they will tell me) is that the DB Evolve line will continue. I keep hoping they will include SSB Gogeta, Super Broly (Wrath Broly... the form with black hair and yellow eyes), and Golden Frieza in the line, as well as customize their existing SSB Vegeta and SSB Goku into SSG Vegeta and SSG Goku, but with different hands.
Even though a 5 inch scale Golden Frieza wouldn't benefit me (since I have the Figuarts one, which is perfectly 5 inch scale), I think it would be good for other collectors.

I'm not a huge fan of the DB Evolve line honestly. The Broly is way too small. I bought the Goku and Vegeta, but the Goku reminds me of the Jakks Goku figures that looked like they had arthritis hands. I don't expect much out of this line other than them releasing the same few characters we always got in their past failed lines and then just ending it.

For $10 each I think the figures are pretty great. But they really need to become a "scale" line, because that Broly is only useful for being customized into 100% Frieza or buff Master Roshi in my opinion. He's too small to be useful as Broly with other 5 inch scale figures.

Hey! I found a frieza 100% real works recently (3 euros + shipping costs!). So glad! Like we said, he fits perfectly with an irwin/jakks collection. Now, I have to find frieza first form (both version, with and without the armor) and maybe some others characters (kid gohan, videl...) I also bought krilin and kid gohan, they fit pretty well too but i don't know the name of the collection. Please look: Goku is a bit small but i don't have the irwin/jakks battle damaged version(i'm looking for it). So i'm using the ultimate instead!

That's an incredible price for Real Works Frieza 100%!!
The Gohan and Krillin are from Bandai's Super Collection from the '90s. They used to be very expensive. Now, the prices of all Super Collection figures are impossible to generalize. Sometimes they sell somewhat high, sometimes they sell very cheap. I sold my SS Goku recently for $40, which is higher than some people have gotten, but perhaps $50 less than he was selling for in the early 2000s. I believe the nicer Banpresto figures that have come out in the last 5 years is what has lowered the demand for Super Collection figures and their prices.

Yeah, the price for this real works frieza 100% was really incredible! I am really happy about that! (i have the base too, the figure is complete) I found real works frieza first form without armor for 15 euros + shipping. I think i will buy it during the week. What's your opinion about the price? Thanks for your answer about my new krilin&kidgohan. I bought both of them for 10 euros + shipping. A really good price too! Krilin is really great, his head looks normal! haha!

I don't know how common Real Works are in France, but in the US, they are very difficult to find for sale from someone in the US or from a seller who will ship to the US. The ones that Bandai America released in the US are not very common to see, but the ones that Bandai America did not release (like Frieza 100% and Frieza form 1) are very, very uncommon. However, there do not seem to be any/many collectors of them either. I've never encountered a collector of Real Works on DBF or Facebook. Some people have less than a dozen in their collection, but I never encounter anyone who focuses on them or has a lot of these figures. With that said, I think 15 euros + shipping is a good price for Real Works Frieza form 1 without armor. There isn't one on ebay.com for someone in the US to buy right now. That price is good, in my opinion, because the figure is hard to find. Not because he is desirable or popular... (even though that figure is pretty popular for 5 inch scale figure collectors to buy)... but because not many of them come up for sale anymore.
doomprevails88 recently purchased a Real Works Frieza form 1 without armor. What do you think about the price? How much did you have to pay for yours?
A few months ago, a Janemba sold for $40 and free shipping and a Super Buu sold for $50 and free shipping. I think these prices are insane and overpriced, but with how rarely these figures appear on the US ebay, I guess it is not surprising...
On a related note... it is actually difficult to find many of the bootleg Real Works sets now too. Most of the ones that are still available from sellers in China and Hong Kong are much lower quality than the sets that were available 9 years ago. It's funny to think that even bootleg figures become rare, but they do. And most bootleg Real Works figures are not very good, but many of the early ones were so similar to the legitimate figures, that it is slightly difficult to tell them apart. I believe when I purchased a large collection of Real Works many years ago (the only large collection of them I have ever seen), the main way I determined the legitimate ones from the bootleg ones was based on the quality of the clear base. Many of the bootleg ones had foggy bases instead of clear.

Well, in France it's pretty easy to find real works. But not all of them, of course! I think frieza 100% is pretty rare here too. I got lucky. I'm looking for kid gohan with the saibaman for a long time but i never saw it on sale. I was hoping to find several to make a little army of saibaman... Now it's just a dream Real works are never expensive in France/Europe. 25 euros is the highest price i can remember (uub) but nobody wants it. It's always around fifteen euros, sometimes cheaper, 5-8 euros for krilin or gohan with piccolo armor for example. Like you said, sometimes it's pretty hard to make the difference between a bandai figure and a bootleg version! Do we have, here on the forum, a page with all the real works series and the bootleg version?

jibi coincidentally, I just added everything I could contribute to this thread on DBF: dragonballfigures.com/thread/1424/bandai-real-works-checklistWe really need a good checklist, but I'm afraid we either don't have someone capable of doing it, or they just aren't active on DBF. If you happen to find one in French or another language, please post a link. I've only searched English websites.

I collect them but not seriously yet. I mainly buy them when I see interesting characters or lots at good prices. I haven't gone through them to see exactly what I have and I'm pretty sure I bought some of the characters multiple times by mistake. Usually I find them in random auctions on Ebay from Japanese sellers.
