To me it looks like the hair is sitting on his head almost like a hat that isn't fully seated in the rear. Can you push it down any? It may be just because of the flash, but it seems like it's on like this.

Yeah. It is placed on his head right now, so I can paint the different parts. The flash doesn't help either, but my new galaxy s3 doesn't take good photos without the flash. If I push it down anymore, the bangs will cover his eyes, so either I should make his head wider to fill the space, or shorten the bangs to bring the hair down a little?

The Galaxy S3 takes great pics if you tap the screen where you want it to focus and then say "Capture" or "Shoot" outloud. You have to enable voice controls though and it's tricky. You have the newer Android update that I keep refusing to install, so you'll have to google how to enable voice controls. I believe it's easier now than it was on my version.
Also, remove the default burst mode from the camera app. That is annoying if you haven't already removed it.
All I can say from the first pic is that it looks like it has a gap and is leaning forward.

Okay. I'll see what I can do.

I found another issue with it. Yamcha's pants or legs are always pretty thick and those Irwin legs are definitely too thin for perfect accuracy. I like this much better.

Looking good except now I question if he is too short. Pic next to Yamcha in yellow suit?

I will show it. I tested his height a few weeks ago and he was slightly taller than Goku.

I have put so much work into this guy already, but I think it was worth trying to create the best Yamcha I can. I think I have spent around 35-40 hours so far. Since the last update; -I shortened his bangs -Added some bulk inside the head to fit the hair better -Sanded the hair another 3 times -Reshaped the eyes -Carved-in his scars -Sanded his face -Did the Branjita-method of preventing paint loss at the articulation points. I took an x-acto and sliced a thin layer of plastic away that was touching the each joint peg. Cut a little more on the shoulders because the articulation was so tight. -Filled in some spots on the pants to even it out, then sanded it another 2 times. -Cut some away on the thighs to prevent both legs from rubbing against each other.

I think he looks really good right now, except his forehead is absolutely ENORMOUS unless the hair is not attached properly yet. It's like holy crap enormous right now, so I hope that's not the final position. Also, the smirk is making him look like he's using his tongue to clean his molars. You need to have it sculpted on the other side some too, because it's really weird right now. If you're making those ankles white, remember to spread glue onto the ankle joint, let it dry, then paint it white, let it dry, then spread more glue on top. Skipping glue as a first step just gives you a ribbon of paint that gets removed the first time you try the joint.

Hmm well I pushed the hair down a lot, but then his bangs were covering his eyes, so I had to trim them quite a bit. I think I may need slice off part of his forehead and then shorten the bangs again without enlarging the space between each hair piece. Shouldn't be too hard. I'll fix that smirk in a matter of minutes.
Do you think his belt is too short?
Thanks for the advice on the glue. I'm willing to spend another 30-45 mins or so before paint. I want him to be right.

I was going to mention the belt thing. I do think looks too short; looks kinda goofy like that. I´ve always prefered a longer belt. I agree with Bran on the forehead issue. Other than that looks great man.

You can do the belt lengthening if you want, but it's generally more trouble than it is worth! I'd leave it alone.

The perfectionist in me is whispering "make it longer."
I laugh.

Dang Adam! You just get better and better every time! I mean, your old Yamcha was great, but this is just one step further!
