Oh man! Gil´s Yamcha is looking awesome lol he beat me on the update anyway here is more WIP pics of mine. Perhaps this will be the last WIP pic as I am about to finish. Pending: Finish the hair (I´m trying to make it as spiky and accurate as possible), still on the sculpting part; and trim the shoes. I repainted the gi again lol to an even more orangy color, this is the definite color and I like it better. Oh! also need to apply the paint sealer to remove glossyness. I decided to stick with this one face only as I don´t like the rest of Regular Goku´s faces for him.

I may have beat you in the update but dude are you freaking kidding me?!?! This is way better than my Yamcha. I know it's not finish but yours and also iamreaper Yamcha looks just like YAMCHA. Compare to mine, nowhere look like him. It's like I grab random figure, put the scar and there he is it's Yamcha. But seriously your custom is nice. I like the hair, the shoes and specially the chest. Really great job on this custom, I can't wait to see it finish.

Thanks guys! I´m glad you like him so far here´s another pic next to Krillin for Gi color comparison. The other pic looks too bright I´m not sure why, but here you can look him better. Hopefully I will work tonight on the hair. @gil08 Thanks for the comments man! it means a lot coming from a great customizer like you your WIP Yamcha looks promising as well, I´m sure it will turn out awesome! I definitely recommend making his hair a bit spikier and making it thiner on the sides, it will make him look way cooler . Are you going to leave the shoes black color? I think blue works a bit better; thing is, the shoes color has always varied (anime, videogames, etc) but I prefer all blue. This pic really helps for the hair; can´t wait to see updates from yours as well. Keep up the great work!

Thanks for the advice/tip. I think that is what's bugging me so much is the side spiky hair, I really need to fix mine. For his shoes I will have to ask how the customer would prefer. Plus idk what GI symbol he wants on it but enough about my custom, this thread is all about your custom. Keep it up man.

This is great, juan. May I make a few suggestions? They're actually small and easy ones you can complete in an hour or so. One, reshade his chest. In other words, mix up a color that is just slightly darker than the rest of his skin, similar to the shade color on his arms, and paint thin lines of it over the black lines you already have on his chest. It'll look so much better. Right now, it looks good, but the black outlining stands out and makes the skin tone on his chest seem brighter than it is. That simple trick will take care of it. Second, add a little hair on the side, so it looks a little sharper and spiked. The first suggestion is more important though.

@gil08 yeah I think with those changes his hair will look great! and as for the symbols yeah, basically what Adam said; Android Saga Yamcha = King Kai front and Kame on the back / Cell Games = Kame on front and back. So it pretty much depends on what version your customer wants. I used stickers for mine, so if I want to convert him to his cell saga version I will just remove the one it's got and put the other ; I guess you could send your customer the other symbol in case he wants to do this as well. Adrenaline thanks for the suggestions man! I will definitely try that. The paint it has right now I had to mix it as well; I was mixing different colors yesterday, flesh, white and yellow lol so yeah I will try to reshade it a bit. As for the hair, definitely :Dit's still in progress and I was planning on working yesterday on it but didn't find the time. I can't wait to finish

Small update on Yamcha's hair. It's about 70% finish, as I still need to work on the back of his hair and the top. Please don't mind any glosyness because I took this pics when I had just applied the black paint so I still need the sealer for a matte finish. The second pic looks better although is too bright, as you can see the Gi looks fire red lol, the first pic does more justice to the actual color it's got. Let me know what you think of the hair Wow! I've been missing a lot recently. Everyone's been pumping out such awesome customs! Seriously, man, this is the best figuarts Yamcha customs I've ever seen. One of the best Yamcha customs in general, too. Not that there are that many out there, but this looks fantastic! I'm glad you decided to use normal Goku's face. The eyes match Yamcha's eyes better. I absolutely love the sculpting on his feet and legs, too! Flawless, man. And boy. You really nailed his hair. I'm very impressed. I really love the red colour you used to paint his gi, as well! I would love to have this guy in my collection. My main complaint would be that the gi on his lower torso (where the sash used to be) is too indented for Yamcha, since there is no sash. It should puff out more above his belt. As it is, it kind of looks like he's wearing an invisible sash or his clothes are defying gravity. Additionally, the clothes could be sculpted higher around his chest so that they look thicker and more separated from his chest, but that's not a big deal. I can see you not wanting to mess with the torso sculpting after applying the decal and paint. But here's what I mean about the sash puff/belt puff:

Thanks for the comment man! I'm glad you like it and also thanks for the suggestion on the torso. I remember Adrenaline asked me if I was going to sculpt more gi above his belt, but honestly I completely forgot about that...and now that you mention it, it would definitely make him look better. I guess the only thing that worries me if I do that is limiting the waist articulation, since the apoxie adheres/sticks to the plastic, hmmm I'm not sure how that would work; but definitely worth checking out tonight when I get home. I also will consider sculpting more gi to make him stand out more from the chest. Thanks again man!
