It does. I already answered this in your post in the American section.

All these figures are rereleases of the France AB 16 inch figures. The SS3 Goku was never released in the US but the original French version by AB Toys was released. It's one of the harder ones to find but it's out there. Check out ebay.fr and try searching for it there. I have the electronic version of the French version.

Obscure characters are obscure for a reason They’re not as popular and they don’t move merchandise Give me another Vegeta instead Yes but they started giving us more obscure characters then pulled back. How many more versions of the same three characters can a line sustain itself with over time? That's also going to eventually kill it. Believe me, I understand them releasing Goku in every wave but with six characters, surely two or three slots at least could go to characters that haven't been done already a million times. It's a common misconception that people will only buy the main characters. That thinking killed many superhero lines like Spider-man and Batman for instance.

I wish this line would focus on more obscure characters not covered by Figuarts like the Universe Tournament fighters and Gods. Even going back and doing characters from older seasons like Dodoria, Zarbon or Nail.

Yes that Freeza is WAY too small. It's more like a mini-figure.

I recently acquired the unproduced prototype figures from the Dragonball IF Labs Series 3 if anyone needs pics of them?

Contact amazon and ask but I'm assuming if you got your money back then they probably won't do anything.

Just cause it's on Ebay doesn't make it official. If it was official we would have seen it turn up on ebay.fr before and that's never happened as far as I know.

It's a bootleg in a real (or copied from the real) box.

You mean the price? One, this was the hard to find figure in this wave originally. Two, it's a character that there are hardly any figures made of especially in this scale. Three, it's an older figure and harder to find in nice condition or MIB.

They did realease that figure in Bandai 97 packaging but not in silver. Could be a grey prototype maybe?

Honestly, I just wait until a few Japanese sellers I have bookmarked get them in and buy from them. If you catch them when they first put it up you get a good deal and don't have to put up with any preorder bs. Besides every time I tried to preorder something I end up getting it way later then everyone else.

It's a combination of things. One, the Figuarts weren't popular at the time so Bandai made less of them then later SDCC figures. The other reason is like you said, the paint. The paint on it really is a lot better. It's actually a repaint that turned out amazingly well. Is it $5000 good? Hell no! I got mine at about $60 when it first came out and honestly if I had to buy it today, I wouldn't even bother with the crazy prices, but it does look nice. I got it specifically over the regular SS Goku because it looked way better. It's also a bit of hype because it's harder to get and a few Youtubers did videos on it saying how amazing it looks.
