I'm skeptical of how well this figure will last. Others that used vinyl and rubber to hide the seams didn't last. The vinyl and rubber ended up cracking and becoming very fragile.

Great Ape Vegeta and Captain Ginyu are the biggest reveals of the year IMO

I'll be honest; I'm hyped on the Bulma figure. I'm also hyped that nobody else is hyped. That way I can scoop it up for cheap. Haha.

I also think that, as much as I adore Bulma, she and Roshi are not as popular as Vegeta. You're right. Tamashii knows any saiyan release will outsell any other figure, almost guaranteed.

I live close to Funko HQ and have spoken with a lot of former workers there. From what I understand; the rush to create new releases is such a demanding and rushed effort that sometimes releases are uninspired and often recycled ideas used for the sake of sales. Many complaints say this started when the company was brought public, as now the copany has a debt of responsibility to the share holders to turn a profit.
This is why we see so many chrome variations of old figures, among other things. It's also why keeping up with the rampant onslaught of POP! releases is nearly impossible for many collectors.

So I emailed Medicom and hopefully I get an answer. I had to use google translate to send them a message because everything was in japanese. Anyway would you think they would not replace my goku because it was bought off someone else? Let us know what they respond with! It'd be amazing if they honored the replacement part after all this time.

Strange to see web exclusive Bulma has gone down in price to be cheaper than release price! I’ll wait to see what happens with Vegeta. The Bulma figure was never very popular due to most people wanting her to be released in the outfit we see her wearing most of the show. I still love it because I'm old and love the original Dragon Ball. But not everybody feels that way. Haha.

Hey friends, just a courteous reminder: make sure you pre-order figures quickly if they are web exclusives. As you may have noticed that recent Vegeta release is already at $100 in third party markets. There's several websites you can pre-order figures at without paying up front. Happy collecting!

Anyone know why Barnes and Noble sells Gotenks for $55 when he is around $40 everywhere online? Different retailers sell for different prices. The MSRP is just that. A suggested retail price. Bigger retailers can get away with it, because they know eventually somebody will buy it.

Why does no one pre-order off Amazon? Their prices are always the same as everyone else or better by a buck or two. Does their delivery take a lot longer or something? Amazon has base broly from the movie for pre-order right now at $72.99 with free shipping of course. Amazon is known for cancelling pre-orders. Often times they cancel the pre-order after everyone else has already sold out of their allotments as well. This leaves customers high and dry and frustrated.

Guys, please calm down and don't spend too much on these figures. This happens every year. Random eBay sellers start selling preorders (which most of them are unable to fullfil) and the figures end up settling at a lower price around the time of the convention.
Think about how many tour stops the Dragon Ball Tour has announced. They need enough exclusives to distribute at every stop of the tour. These figures are going to be made en masse and when they flood the market, the law of "supply and demand" will equalize the price to something much more reasonable.
This happened last year when they had several exclusives for the tour. None of those figures are selling for crazy sums, even today. Save your money, control your emotions, buy smart.

Just won the lot of 4 SDCC figures with a best offer. Estimated delivery is July 6th-11th Please be aware that you're essentially taking part in a "preorder" with an eBay seller, who might not even get the figures. Also keep in mind that you cannot open a Paypal claim after a certain amount of time. So you better hope this guy follows through with your figures, or refunds you. You're putting yourself in a position to be ripped off.
