I think a Bulma figure would be very well received.

The only announcement I care about right now are release dates on Yamcha and Tien. Agreed. I was impressed they showed us such rough prototypes. Based on the prototypes being as early in the process as they were, I'd wager we're still a little further away on Tien and Yamcha. I think they knew that the hype train would take off if they showed them, regardless of them being the most rough prototypes they've ever displayed.

I'm still holding out hope for boxed sets to be released some day. I want a Ginyu Force boxed set, a boxed set of Kid Trunks and Goten and Master Roshi with his turtle.

I wouldn't mind a battle damaged Piccolo. Perhaps with a removable arm?

It's lame that Golden Frieza wasn't painted entirely in metallic paint. He looks really weird the way they did him. His hips are funny looking too. Agreed. This line has so much potential but they keep doing cheap short cuts like this..

One thing I think is worth mentioning is this thread is that using the word "invested" suggests that you're spending the money with an expectation of achieving a profit. I've collected many things in my life, in addition to Dragon Ball figures and something I've learned is that these types of collectable arent always the best investment. I own a few figures that used to sell for hundreds back when I was young, but now a days they're worth a quarter of their original price. This goes for anything in life, really. You can buy it cheaply and sell it at a profit, so long as you do both these things at the right time. I suppose my point is that dont buy these figures hoping to make a fortune or profit one day. Its very risky. Buy them because you like them and enjoy the hobby.

You cant expect new prototypes and release dates with every toy show. Other wise they'd have a line up of releases scheduled out into the next couple years, which isnt realistic. Just relax everybody, the figures are on their way.

I know it costs 10,800JPY, will be released in March, 2017. Pre orders started yesterday. It will also have voice clips from Bulma and Shenron's voice actor, as well as background music from the original Dragon Ball series; all engineered by the sound engineer who worked on the show at the time. Batteries required. What I'm real curious about is the sensor they mention, that locates Dragon Balls..

I was looking at the Tamashii Nations pictures, again, and I noticed that looking at all of them lined up next to the original SS Goku in the first box...Tien and Yamcha don't seem quite as TALL as I had first thought they were. I feel much better about their heights, now. I don't think it will mess up the sizing of all the figures. Agreed. Goku has his knees bent and the others dont, at least not as much.

Looks translucent to me. I really hope that changes by the time they release these figures. They've got quite a while to work out the details before they see release, so I'll keep hoping for the best. Worse comes to worse, I just wont buy them. I do hope they sell well enough that Bandai may decide to release something of a higher quality at some point. Maybe something on the level of Marvel Legends at worst.

Bandai is doing the Build-A-Figure with Power Rangers Legacy, I'm gonna guess this will be build a Dragon. That would, actually, be nice to get. But, is it just me...or, is Vegeta WAY too tall? Goku looks kinda decent, eh. I will need to see more of these. They will be significantly taller than anything else, though. I dont think this photo accurately shows their scale in comparison to each other. Also, heres the official press release from Toei: www.toei-animation-usa.com/press-releases/BandaiToys_draft4v2.pdf

Maybe the Time Patroller could be more expensive because they made up a little create your own sort of thing. I've always wanted an S.H.Figuarts of my Saiyan character, Cauri. Theyre both priced the same.
