This has so much visual appeal. I'm willing to say it has the best color scheme out of every Goku made in the line.

You'll just have to lightly tug at it to remove it. Hold the sheath and rotate it a bit if there isn't damage on the peg already.

Change to the index, I added color highlights to signify which releases are regular, web exclusive, or convention exclusive. Should come in handy for anyone unfamiliar with how the releases are/were handled.

There's very little solid consistency between the various palettes but the purple wrist band/sash combo shows up quite a bit in the anime.  It took me a bit of time to get used to it but now that Super has the purple wrist band/sash, I've accepted it as the standard color. looking at the footage again...it seems the palette used in the Ressurection F Future Trunks Special Edition may actually be a dark blue/dark purple combo but the difference is very subtle. I'd imagine if DBZ were truly remade, Goku would have a palette similar to the one seen on the 2.0 SS3 Goku. |

Really like what I'm seeing and beyond glad they improved the eyes a little. It looks like the hair might have a glossy finish similar to the PCE hair parts and if this is the case I really like it. I never like gloss coats on figures but they look great on super saiyan hair.

None of them have 2 fists. You would have to resort to customizing if you want to get arms that have two balled fists.

I'm very, VERY excited for this release. I may still have issues with that underwhelming SDCC sash and how it barely works with the design but this has been on my factory release/custom wishlist since the the 2014 Goku was released. The ki glow paint app that's actually effective, the red kamehameha effect that can also be used with SS4 Goku (when it comes out)...and...well...other compelling reasons. I love it even though you can make a long list of reasons why it shouldn't have been made.
On the other hand...I'm extremely disappointed that so many people seem to hate it. I'm well aware that people are sick of Goku releases, especially those that use the old design, but this is an event exclusive. It's been said many times by many people, exclusives are NOT essential, they are bonuses. This is an ideal bonus release.

Also, if we can swap the head with the awakening ver. we get an updated Cell saga Goku which is sweet! As great as that would be, I don't see it happening since most of the newer figures have a large neck peg and the Awakening SS Goku has the older small peg. There's also a chance that neck swapping won't be possible since it seems Tamashii has switched back to the lighter/peach skin tone (which I'm very happy to see). If the SS3 is made with the lighter skin tone it won't match the Awakening faces/neck.  and..since it seems the preview video still hasn't been posted... |

I can def try and get a checklist going, and work in some of the alternate heads. Make it a more traditional sized pic, with rows. Don't want to get into all parts tho as that basically becomes a book. Maybe in a couple years for that  To be clear, you're just talking heads, not every face swap? And RE: the side by side pic, I can do that. Need a bit of time though as I have a backlog of shoots and I JUST re-set up all these guys on my display shelf. Posed out and all. I didn't think it would be necessary to try and include every part but I can see a few instances where optional parts would add to the image (Scouter Vegeta 1 with wrapped tail, scouter head/normal face, and the crossed arms, then Scouter Vegeta 2 with the open tail, yelling face, and crushed scouter hand). / Not necessarily EVERY face, but again, a few variations would be cool to see (SS1 Gohan anger face, SS2 Gohan normal/stoic face). Thinking again, I wouldn't mind a pic similar to the one above where it's just all the figures against a black background. Aside from a traditional checklist, can you also make a variation with just the figures on a black background? not like I'm any position to rush you. I'll look forward to seeing it, though. |

Here is the guy. Incredible figure, perfect face, painting, very accurate, nice shadows and reflections. This Figuarts is close to perfection. nah. Visually appealing, sure. Accurate? Not at all.  |
