Bit of an update on all of this, I logged into my Photobucket account a few days ago after leaving it alone for roughly a year. Doing so seems to have triggered an automated email (received it tonight) stating some features on my account will be disabled due to excessive third party hosting. Once I saw this I checked out my old posts on the "Catch of the Day" thread (just because there are a large number of my images there) and it looks like my images are no longer visible. Many other Photobucket images still display in the thread but that could be because a lot of users haven't logged into Photobucket for a long time.

Noticed it on some older Figuarts threads (I've been transferring many images to Imgur long before this happened), thought it might have been a temporary glitch...doesn't seem to be the case. It's better to retroactively say the SDCC version is the "Premium Color" edition. Although I'd like to see a new PCE SS Goku (always like seeing variants), I don't see Tamashii returning to the old bodies now that the 2.0 bodies are being used. There may be a few exceptions like PCE versions of Krillin, Frieza, and possibly the androids (OR they could end up making 2.0 versions of all those figures) but it's hard to say what will happen at this point, other than saying a PCE SS Goku is unlikely.

The upper torsos on the new figures have two separate "plate" pieces that cover up a sort of spine that holds the neck and the shoulder swivels. The abdomen is one sculpted piece that holds the "spine". For SBC style shirt pieces to work, there would need to be a full torso underneath that can easily be seen (Awakening SS Goku is a perfect example, but the body sculpt has gaps that hold the shirt parts). Considering where all the parts are on Yamcha there's clearly no room for that. A secondary abdomen would also be required. They could surely figure out something to realize that idea but I don't see it happening.

I've read the cloak is surprisingly quite restrictive. It's made of multiple parts yet still hinders the legs. I've also read that Tamashii gave this Trunks not only a new neck peg that's medium sized and doesn't work with any previous heads but the faces were also modified and can't fit on the SS armor Trunks heads. If there was any doubt that Tamashii doesn't want people swapping parts around, there shouldn't be after this release (which is absurd, part swapping is one of the most appealing aspects of the line).

- Kid Goku is phenomenal. When it was first revealed, it was great to see but it had awkward faces. Now it looks like it was ripped out of the anime.
- The larger body isn't accurate for SSG Goku but I think I can live with it if they don't decide to make a smaller body. I really like whatever they did with the hair, the glossy/pearlescent finish is perfect for the form. Reminds me of the gashapon (which is amazing).
- Yamcha looks great, I'm glad they made the longer hair, and I need that Tien now.
- MAJIN VEGETA. It didn't seem like it would ever be made, and there it is...it looks perfect. The jumpsuit could be a bit darker, though.
- Without going into a rant...just look at how good all these figures look with the pale orange skin tone...I'm beyond pleased right now. I was quietly afraid the SS3 Goku would have the darker/pinker skin tone used on the Awakening Goku. genuinely happy to see all this.
- I hate to force a complaint but they had a good opportunity to help hide the clothing split on the shoulders of SS3 Goku/Yamcha by coloring the shoulder swivel sockets orange. They did this for the Majin Vegeta prototype, the fly joints/sockets that hold the shoulders match the jumpsuit.t.
---------------------------------- No new Super prototypes...a shame, but it's still cool to see all the updates. Also, the event poll has some very interesting character selections such as Raditz, Bardock, Cooler, and Gogeta. I don't think it's crazy to assume that a prototype exists for each character on the list (obviously excluding those that HAVE been shown), so this seems pretty exciting.  |

At 5.04 in this video you can see the scouters were made to fit on pegs on the faces and I can confirm the scouters are sealed onto the faces (but I'm sure they can be pried off). as for the TP heads...again, they have the peg where the left ear goes so they wouldn't be any good for Gohan. / cape may have to be pried off and the torso will definitely require resculpting/repainting if you intend to get a new Trunks body. and finally...  |

damn...well, whatever the case, good to see you here again.
Saiyans are what sell, it's just the way it goes. Other characters are peppered in just enough for me to ignore it, and now we have Tien and Yamcha looming on the horizon so that's something.

really excited for this line, it really took off on another level. but i wont be counting the chicken while its still an egg. Remember how happy people were with nappa only for it to be not released for years (and with a different model), so unless theres an official release i wont get my hopes too high about it. not to get off topic but dude, how have you been Ascat? I was just wondering what happened to you the other day. |

For now, I'm pretty damn happy to see Buu Saga (Majin?) Vegeta and (2.0?) SSG Goku. I'm very surprised (and pleased) to see Tien, Yamcha, and Kid Goku updated and would really like to know what's going to happen with those releases. I don't know if I'll be disappointed if they don't show any Super prototypes but I'm certainly hoping to see something from Super.
