I still hate it and love it. I've already said why I hate it (aside from saying I really wanted a Cell Games or Main/Buu Saga Vegeta) so I'll just state why I love it. I used to have a Jakks Frieza's Revenge Vegeta and a Jakks Alien Invaders Vegeta and I loved setting them next to each other on my shelf, I thought they looked great together and it will be very cool to do that with the Figuarts versions.
This likely won't apply to many people but another reason I love it is because of the dark outfit. I can easily buy an extra and make some cool stuff with the parts (I only make Figuarts customs when I can find joints in the appropriate color, I don't like to modify or sand the joints, it's tough to do properly and I want my figures to last long). The SDCC Vegeta plus a Datong Vegeta torso/gloves/boots and I'll have an anime accurate Namek Vegeta...then I can take the SDCC Vegeta head (that is more red than brown for some strange reason), repaint it a little, and have a very nice and somewhat official SSGod head for Vegeta that I can then use with my first SS Vegeta. That has me pretty excited even if it isn't an official form for Vegeta. The dark suit might also make it easier for me to make an anime accurate Buu Saga Vegeta (I was already working on one but it has a light outfit to match the real Vegeta figures). I doubt I'll do that though. Maybe. I'm not sure. Caps said he was going to take pics of one next to his Zeem Arlian Oozaru Vegeta...that should be pretty cool to see...and...well, it just looks cool. Havok and some other people raised some great points as well, it's much better to have this version being scalped than a Cell Games or Majin Vegeta when both are already in high demand.

Added price. He'll be $45 at SDCC. And $150 on eBay. TDC honestly I'd love a Kaioken Goku. As pointless as it would be I'm sure it would look incredible. |

YES YES YES! SO stoked about this. I seriously can't help it, this has me very excited. I was right there with every other comment I've read online thinking Broly would be my last choice if I had my way...but when I think about all the potential pics and how good it will look...ugh...Rilldo came for a visit. I'm so excited about this I'm actually somehow getting excited about the Arlian Vegeta. I honestly can't believe this. To think it's actually coming out. I mean with all that was said about Nappa...hell...maybe this could help generate a little buzz for Nappa. ugh. I must go calm down.
*resumes jaded pessimism*
meh. I might buy it.

I'm sure I made a rant on this at some point. "This was only seen in one episode, the mistake was corrected in Kai, farmer with a shotgun would be a better exclusive"...I can't remember everything I said but I do remember repeatedly saying I hated the thought of this Vegeta. Now here it is. hm. I guess if nothing else...I see some custom potential with this. The dark suit parts can be used to make his second Namek outfit...maybe a modified Android Saga suit...eh. No bright side for me, this release is a bummer.

Branjita that is pretty funny. I'm sure you saw some of the anti-Yamcha posts people made there. Shame some people there haven't come over here and I say that for something else you mentioned, the thread is a nightmare to navigate through. Reptil Did you know a Figuarts Megaman Zero is coming out this year?

 Bad enough I had to wait until June to pick one up, now it seems the package was lost (two weeks ago). Unrelated but I could use a little time to vent. I ordered a bottle of paint a few days after I bought the Goku...check out the adventure it's currently on.  ridiculous. |

very nice pics. Can't say I'm satisfied with the results...that damn SS3 Goku and it's yellow skin, still ruining my day two years after it's released.

I've gotta be honest, I wasn't blown away by the Raditz or Nappa but this seriously looks like a Figuarts prototype. That and the display...man. Incredible.

Metal Gear Solid V, Batman Arkham Knight, Mortal Kombat X, and Bloodbourne are the ones I'm looking forward too! There's a lot of great games coming, but all next year. yep, MK 10 is another one I'm excited for. Honestly I've been bored with everything past Shaolin Monks (but the reboot was pretty good)...the trailer they showed off really caught me off guard. |

AWESOME. I can't say I cared about Palutena but Pac Man is an awesome addition. I'd like to see a few more newcomers as well but I think I'm satisfied at this point.

I was pretty underwhelmed with Nintendo's digital event really.  Especially SSB. The 3DS version is delayed until October when it was supposed to come out in Summer, which means the Wii U version could be delayed into 2015. I like Palutena, but I was expecting a really hype character like Ridley or Mewtwo since we got Mega Man last E3. Nothing really excited me from Sony's conference either. Microsoft won this year imo. To each his own I suppose. I do agree that the DE was quite lacking but I feel what they did show was sufficient...for...some strange reason. I don't know, I caught the early Star Fox leak and that gave me a bit of excitement that lasted all the way to the Wii U Zelda clip. I really hope the Wii U Star Fox doesn't turn out to be a rumor or a tech demo, I've been waiting for a proper Star Fox release since the Wii came out. |
