I also hate the thought of paying more but I'm the same way, if I see some sort of Fierce Deity skin for Link I'm coughing up the cash. Eh...but DLC may be wishful thinking.
As for the extra characters...I'll believe it when I see it....but man...Mewtwo would more than make up for the loss of Wolf.

It seems a recent Smash Bros. leak turned out to be true, here's the final roster ( or part of the final roster if the new leak info turns out to be true).  Shame that Wolf and Snake are out and there wasn't a second Sonic character added but this seems to be a very nice roster. I just wish they'd be willing to add future characters through DLC. |

I also collect the D-Arts Megaman figures...I have everything except the SDCC X and Comic Version X. I'm getting a bit worried about the Protoman, I assumed it was bound to be released but the lack of news and the announcement of the new Zero has given me doubts.
Loving the pics Wave, we have very similar collections.

An interesting tidbit was brought up at Sideshow about a month ago, when the Figuarts Zero SS Goku was reissued there was a specific mention in the announcement that it was the first time they were reissuing an exclusive. I don't know if this could open the door for future web exclusive reissues though.

Goten and Kid Trunks...honestly I'm going nuts without this set. I have to have these two in my collection. These two are absolutely perfect candidates for Figuarts figures.
Majin Vegeta...yep.
Gogeta...now that Vegito is all but confirmed I'd really like to have a Gogeta to go with it.

I'm conservative and I'm going to now refer to the liberals as being terrorist. lol. Can't seem to find the source for this quote...and even if this is something the guy said does that automatically mean all people in a political spectrum think this way? How utterly and completely absurd. They kill one of us we bomb a school. If they bomb us, we blow up a town. If they threaten nuclear action, we instantly decimate the country. Sounds unfair, it's not. The idea is make them fear killing Amercans and allies. The more we empower the wrong people the more we make ourselves uncivilized. If I knew killing my enemy would mean instant death, I would stop killing. Oh boy...*rolls up sleeves*. For starters...you seem pretty fired up about this beheading. Don't get me wrong, his death was certainly a tragedy. I rarely feel bad for random people that die that I don't even know (it happens, death is a part of life) but journalists being held captive that eventually meet their end at the hands of terrorists is very difficult to think about and I absolutely think justice should be served somehow. BUT...all that said...now we carpet bomb an entire country? To take one of your phrases...are you high? You're this bent out of shape over the death of an American citizen and you can't find one thing wrong with suggesting an entire country should be bombed? I can already feel words being put in my mouth so I'll go ahead and say terrorists do need to be killed with no exceptions and I feel strongly about that...but not to the point that I feel innocent people should also be lumped in with them. Liberals are needed for a variety of views. Liberals that support terrorist should be tried for treason. Freedom of speech is protected. When you go before the nation and say terrorist are good, we need to help them, and we need them here, you are insighting people to become terrorist. That in itself is a treasonous act. Maybe I'm not looking hard enough but I can't find any liberals that support terrorists. one final semi-unrelated remark. I can't count the number of times I've seen people online complain about the "liberal" media...what about the conservative media? It seems to do much more damage. Of all our iniquities ignorance may be the worst and it seems to me all the biased groups in this country that focus on the extremists and magnify minor remarks that immediately evolve into widespread generalizations should be the focus of all our fervorous complaints. |

Would have been nice but the size is acceptable for me. I think there's a very low chance Bandai will make a Figuarts Bowser and compared to every other Bowser available this one seems to be the best even with the low articulation. It doesn't really add to my Smash Bros. collection but it works just fine for a Super Mario 64 collection.

A few catches...I have to thank cracker again for helping me get an Armored Black Ranger figure for a good price.  so excited to have it but that's the only pic I took. This next catch is a bit more important than the rangers...after seeing the World of Nintendo Bowser in a post ToadKart made I had to pick one up.  Promising...until I got it out of the box. The paint apps were very disappointing, especially for a figure this large. I'd list all the issues but it's easier to say it should have been better. The shoulders and legs are both on ball joints but are limited since they were placed so deep into the torso and it looks like it would have been very easy to make it happen but the head isn't articulated. I guess I've been spoiled by all my Figuarts and Figma figures. I can overlook the articulation flaws for the same reasons I ignored the issues on the Figuarts Mario, this is a strange design to work with. I don't really feel I got my money's worth after paying $40 for it (even though it's now selling for $50)...and yet...I'm satisfied with it. It isn't perfect but it looks great and has a very nice size.  That alone makes me happy with my purchase. I was worried it wouldn't be much larger than the Figuarts Mario...fortunately that's hardly an issue.  As I said in the other thread...perfect. Here are two more pics with a Figuarts Goku and a Figma Link to show how big it is.   I'm very happy with how it compares to the Figma Link, I feel it's exactly where it needs to be. A few more pics...  Good, not great...but I'm satisfied with it. Here's an update of one of the pics, I didn't notice Mario's hat wasn't in frame and I edited Bowser's eye to make the pic look more natural.  |

Long overdue post...I owe a million thanks to cracker for making this happen. In July he sent me a message asking if I was looking for a Figuarts manga SS Gohan. I told him I was but I didn't have $150 on hand to buy one (based solely on one I was watching on eBay, he didn't mention a price until later). After saying this he said he was willing to sell his for $75 and I'm guessing I made a good decision to agree to that price since it's starting to go for over $250 on eBay. Before the sale happened he also offered me a manga Piccolo and I figured it wouldn't hurt to pick it up as well. All of this would've been fine but before we moved to the next step he mentioned he was going to SDCC and said he might be able to grab me an SDCC Vegeta. Of course I jumped at this offer, I didn't expect it but as soon as it came up I knew I had to do it. I only wish I had enough money to pick up a few more at the time, I really didn't see scalpers bumping up the Vegeta to $80 as soon as they got their hands on it. Either way...he managed to get me an SDCC Vegeta AND an SDCC Armored Black Ranger, both for a little over retail. I really wanted to pick up an Android 18 to make this my best catch ever but missing that one hardly hurts what I did gain.  Another thing worth mentioning...when the manga SS Goku was reissued last year I managed to get a gold sticker version. I really wanted to be able to have gold sticker versions of the first three DBZ Figuarts releases but I didn't see it happening. Both the Gohan and Piccolo cracker sold me were gold sticker versions which made this pic possible.  Coinciding perfectly with my recent SDCC Goku catch...this is another pic I really wanted to make.  Then I realized I could go even further with the SDCC Vegeta and I took this pic...I really should have hunted down a gold sticker version of Vegeta.  |
