Honestly I fail to see how recent "rumors" from Bluefin and Distribuidora Animexico, entities that distribute Figuarts and have direct connections to Tamashii Nations, have been met with such skepticism. I can see doubting claims from fan pages but info from distributors? That seems highly questionable.

The armor could use a little more depth. Compare it to the resin right next to it and see how much the pecs and middle portion of the armor jut outwards. it also looks like the surface could be a tad bit smoother. Other than that this looks really cool.  |

eh...I hate making predictions but I'll give it a go. We'll see Majin Vegeta with the updated hair sculpt so many have asked for and it will be one of the "next generation" Figuarts releases with updated articulation and it will blow all of our minds.

I bought into this line back in April. I've paid over $1k on this line. Not bragging, just a fact. If the line goes to be worth less than retail? I was just going to keep the figures anyway, so whatever. I do see how people who are 'speculating' on the ever increasing prices of the exclusives would be mad, but you're investing in action figures, not a high yield stock or something. There are much better things to speculate on. Advanced Color re-issues keep the line alive for new comers, and helps out people who didn't want to spend $200+ on Cell/SSj3 Goku, and lets them still compete with DaTong. As long as it doesn't get out of hand and kill off the collectors from the line, then I'm all for it. Like I said before, if we can still get a solid 3-4 releases a year, and even if the other 8 months are filled with Advanced Color releases, that's still par for the course of what the line was getting before. Before reissues and PCE variants were a factor four figures a year seemed to be the norm. Is it disappointing that they don't put out more new figures when they possibly could? Definitely, but that doesn't mean there isn't a good reason why they don't. More reissues and variants flooding the market could result in greater success for the line (when it seems to be highly successful already) and this is nothing but a good thing as it increases the chances for new figures. |

1. Regarding the hair...hopefully this is just how the prototype looks (could be the case since the faces are painted on the figure in the promo pics). Maybe the hair will look closer to Goku's hair with a matte finish.
2. Really liking the new faces...they almost make up for the lack of the normal head.
3. The normal head was an unexpected bonus for the Goku figure that would inevitably become an expected bonus for Vegeta. It's very disappointing that they skipped it. I know including crossed arms would have meant updating the sculpt (due to the gloves) so I guess I can deal without that part.
4. it looks really cool and as I've said before, they could have skipped it entirely so I'm happy with it.

that part does upset me and granted it might be a significant quantity increase but just re-releasing figures feels cheep to me. i would prefer to have one every couple months then a ton of re-releases. im referring to ssj3 goku, cell, vegeta, trunks. one thing a lot of people seem to forget...not everyone has been following this line since the beginning. Recolors and reissues are essential for new collectors or for people looking to fill holes in their collections. For those who already have the figure recolors may seem cheap but it doesn't mean they shouldn't come out, or even that you need to get them. If you really think about it they are still putting out new releases at the same usual rate, they just have reissues/recolors squeezed in between them. |

I hate to be a buzzkill...but... Perhaps we can pretend its Bowser Jr Grown up lol or Pretend its his short cousin from out of state  I may skip it...it's strange to say but the height alone makes the Jakks World of Nintendo Bowser so much better. |
