The new Goku mold looks great. I'm concerned though, it seems there might be a big gap between the torso and the waist if the belt is removed (that was also an issue on the Awakening Goku, and I only bring it up because it's a new issue...it's something that was handled correctly on the Figuarts Krillin). Aside from that, the SS3 Goku looks incredible. I wanted the potential PCE SS3 Goku to have the same palette from the Figuarts Zero EX version and that's exactly what this 2.0 version has.
Kaioken Goku looks great, I desperately want it, but I'm sure it's just a display piece.
It's great to finally see what Gotenks will look like.
Nappa is superb. No complaints, but it's odd that it has the first appearance armor.
The 2.0 Vegeta is driving me nuts. I love it. This looks just like the first version of Vegeta but with new parts and updated articulation. It begs the question...why couldn't the 2.0 SS Vegeta look like this? The color makes all the difference...it takes a figure from great to perfect. I'm still holding out hope Awakening Goku, SS Trunks, and the new SS Vegeta will be modified one day with updated colors (not entirely out of the question since they are regular releases and will be reissued).
Minor complaint, I'm disappointed SS4 Goku wasn't shown off.

timone317 Those look a lot better than I expected. Funny how Vegeta is enormously tall. But those figures were combined in Photoshop and not scaled well by the graphic designer I bet. Where'd you find that pic? Are there more? I have no use whatsoever for any 6.5" scale figures in my collection sadly. If they'd make 5 inch scale, I'd buy that Beerus immediately. (seems most of this has been answered already, so...)No, that was the only pic I found.

Well...this is very surprising. It seems like they won't fit in with the Irwin and Jakks figures, though (these are marked at 6.5 inches). Nevertheless, these seem like they'll be great. I can't hold back, I have to say it. VEGETA WITH TOP TO BOTTOM ACCURATE COLORS. It's just so great to see.

You can but it just reveals gaps where the shirt parts go. You would have to do quite a bit of sculpting and painting to truly get rid of the shirt...and the abs would be very problematic since the shirt is part of the ab piece.

I see a split in the middle so it may be similar to the Awakening Goku where parts of the shirt are separate pieces but glued on. Nah, this is new from top to bottom. The Hero arms have a swivel split above the elbow (which the first Trunks desperately needed). Regarding the arms/torso...it seems to be a much better fit compared to the first Trunks. It's always been something I've ignored but the first release has a fairly small torso that really doesn't work well with the arms. I have no idea if they created Hero solely to hint at a new Trunks, but the parts are certainly there if they decide to remake it.

Gives me the reaction I expected, I like the Trunks very much but the Hero isn't doing much for me. If nothing else it's interesting to see what an updated Future Trunks might look like (not that I think it needs to be remade this early).
Pretty sure I said it before but wow....Tien and Yamcha are superb. This is the last thing I should be thinking but I'm itching to see an updated Goku now, old outfit or otherwise. I don't have any issues with the old Goku mold, I just see how great an updated Goku would be with the new engineering they're using.
(I'm not going into it, I swear I'm not going into it, but those newer figures with the sunburned skin tone that stand out like a sore thumb...gahhh....)

That would be pretty great. It's odd how NYCC has never had any substantial Figuarts reveals.
I'm a bit taken aback by the widespread negative reception for this news (from here, Facebook groups, and other forums). Chances are both releases will be well made and fairly impressive. I'll admit, the Time Patroller may wind up as the least exciting figure in the entire line but I'm trying to look at it like this...Xenoverse 2 has a heavy focus on movie villains. Who knows? Having a Figuarts Xenoverse line might provide a decent excuse to get some movie characters.

Interesting...I'm looking forward to seeing both.

Main thing I'm noticing is the web shop logo...wasn't this supposed to be the next regular release?

In this thread, we will be discussing anything and everything to do with the S.H.Figuarts Super Saiyan Son Gohan (2017 Edition). It's OK to go off topic, but let's try and mostly stay on the topic of Super Saiyan Son Gohan. Thanks!

Have you been showing Tamashii Nations your photos, timone317? If you want your voice to be heard, sending them your examples on social media with others agreeing would be best rather than ranting on a forum. I may make a video for my (essentially worthless) YouTube channel in the future. It's hard to say for sure, I have many things to worry about and can't treat producing videos as a priority (especially since I don't have a quality camera)...but I think that would be a good solution. It would be a review of the entire line covering consistency/accuracy and minor complaints regarding each release and what I think could have been done/can be done to improve the figures (a good opportunity to showcase Photoshop edits). A simple tweet or Facebook won't suffice, it will be lost the same day I post it. A video would stand out more and remain visible on YouTube. - - - The interview is quite interesting, I'll be looking forward to the poll.

It's not that bad. Again, I changed the color values to make the skin match the skin tone seen on the past few web exclusive figures and to make it somewhat close to the color scheme used in Dragon Ball Super. one more pic to show the skin isn't all that pale, this time with black hair. No but the PCE SS Vegeta skin has a bit too much red bias where it should be geared more towards yellow. In all fairness, it looks OK and you can just say it has somewhat lighter skin because he's in his super saiyan form. The new figures...to me, it looks they are all sun burned. You really can't find any stills in any media that would justify the pink tone Tamashii has been using. that and saiyans are supposed to have yellow skin according to the Daizenshuu...and the web exclusives (Goku, Vegetto, Ultimate Gohan) were all made with plastic that looks close to yellow skin. OK everyone, I apologize for endlessly ranting about this, I know I'm beating a dead horse. It's just difficult for me to accept flaws on expensive figures that aren't compatible with everything I've already bought. A small part of me hopes this ranting might accomplish something one day. Maybe the impossible will happen and Tamashii will change the plastic colors on future re-issues. That faint delusional hope gives me enough motivation to rant.
