I don't especially like Videl, but I don't hate her. I'd glady buy one. There are other female characters I'd rather have, if that's what we're looking for.

I don't think we need to compare female characters... and I think there are enough important women in the series that they shouldn't have to choose one over another, and could certainly release more than one. Why does the character's physical power measure their worth as a figure?  Anyway, I agree, I would have really liked a different Bulma than the one we got, considering she doesn't actually appear at any point in the story... Namek Bulma stands out in my mind as the most iconic Bulma, maybe just because that's the point where she's most involved in a high-stakes storyline (obviously, she contributed heavily to the Android stuff, but she didn't really go into the action quite as much as going to space-- and she went to the future in Super, but I guess I'm thinking of Z). Although I agree about Tournament Chichi probably being her at her best, I think probably her outfit during the Saiyan Saga era is probably her most recognizable and iconic look, judging by her default appearances in videogames and on a lot of merchandise. A lot of that is because of filler material and movies, I'd guess, as she returns to that outfit in the Garlic Jr. saga after wearing a different outfit in her brief appearance in the Namek arc, and wears it in the vast majority of her appearances in the DBZ movies-- which is to say, the animation team at Toei seemed to really prefer it, I suppose. If it wasn't that outfit, I would think Buu Saga, as at that point, I think purple and orange has just become her associated color palette, and it looks comfortable on her. |

I truly think that there is some kind of feedback from different forms of media when it comes to choose some outfits for some characters that have so many looks like Bulma. I kinda get why they decided to give us this Bulma first since she appears like this in some recent videogames and that outfit looks very action-y, and it's a very common look in figure form for her.  But I understand those who wanted a more canon accurate look for her. The solution to this is releasing more Bulmas  Same for Chi-Chi, if they go for a more action-looking look, 23rd budokai or kid Chi-Chi are my bets.  I know for sure that I'm gonna be waiting another 9 years to get some of these though. At the present Videl is the only one that I see with more chances to get released |

I hate the Bulma they did. It's a non-canon design, and even if it wasn't, I just hate the design of it. As far as I'm concerned, until they make another one, there is no SHF Bulma. My ideal Bulma outfit is the Buu Saga one, but literally anything that she actually wears in the show would be fine.
As for ChiChi, I'm fine with the tournament design or her Saiyan saga one. Anything is fine, really. All her outfits have a similar vibe. I'd buy kid ChiChi as well.

The thing is, I actually LOVE Wild Rider Bulma. But I would want it as like... You know, a second or third variant of her? I just think it's such an odd choice for our first, and given it's so many years down the line, MAYBE ONLY Bulma??
