I mean it could be a continuation in the same universe as the OG Broly just with the Super stuff and therefore not be canon or it could be a reboot of Broly into the main series. I have so many questions and there’s so many possibilities 🤯 Did they ever say if the movie was canon to the main series or do we not know that yet? To my knowledge, this movie is supposed to be canon to the main series. I feel like I've read that somewhere but I have no link or proof of it. Broly being canon would change... Everything. Pretty crazy to think about. I kind of hope they reboot his story entirely and make it canon bit we shall see Yeah it’s been confirmed by Toei, Toyotaro and Toriyama that this movie will be canon and pick up right where Super ended |

I hope they either give a redesign of him or just keep his original color scheme and outfit. I feel like he might have the colors of the convention exclusive and now I’m gonna have to buy that figure 😑

Idk how they can backtrack since Kale’s appearance would’ve clearly made someone mention Broly in one way or another. I’m thinking a reboot. Damn this is exciting 😙 |

So... the new movie coming out in December is apparently a Broly movie. He’s officially going to be canon. This is AMAZING! I freaking knew it! |

Yeah, i'm really looking to retire from articulated figure collecting soon. Having lost interest in all the Figma and Medicos lines years ago, and now Kinnikuman SHF coming with no new announcements for 6 months, I feel DB is next to go. Goku, Krillin & Roshi are all I need from a "DB" perspective and I feel now that the core DBZ is pretty much done, bar perhaps Bardock, Raditz and some other forms of main villains. My lust for Super still isn't there yet, my Goku Black remains in it's box, and I only really want the super trunks for the new hair sculpt!! If we are just going to start seeing game, movie, heroes, legends, super, etc. figure in 2019, then it's probably a good time to jump ship! They could honestly continue making characters for Z for a good while without running into any issues, but if you're content with your collection good for you. Just off the top of my head. - Super Buu - Kid Buu - Cell (First Form) - Cell (Second Form) - Frieza (First Form) - Frieza (Second Form) - Frieza (100% Full Power) - The ENTIRE Ginyu Force (Pleeeeeease Tamashii...) - Raditz - SSJ2 Goku - Zarbon - Namek Saga Vegeta - Kid Gohan (Namek) - Goten - Kid Trunks - Dr. Gero - Android 19 - Hercule w/Bee The list goes on and on. Nothing I have listed here is from a movie, a game, super, etc. and this is easily 2 years worth of releases alone. I'm sad that you don't enjoy Super though man... I thoroughly enjoyed it. I feel ya man, and that's a good list. Essentially though, many are simply alternate versions of characters we already have. (Which lets be honest, Tamashii could make until the year 2030!) I'll agree, the Namek Saga definitely needs more love though. Frieza forms, Dodoria, Zarbon & The Ginyu Force would be great. I don't know if I'd go for an Android 19/20 or Kid Goten & Trunks though. Not at $60 a pop. The line certainly has more life in it, and it would be nice to see more DBZ stuff, i'm just fearful is all. |

Hmm Broly into the canon. I guess this kinda starts to open up the doors now.
Why do I feel a xenoverse crossover coming, where we're about to see all the lines blurred.
I have to admit, the anime adaption of Super DB Heroes Prison Planet Saga is a bit of a guilty pleasure!!
I'm just worried about mass confusion and plot holes starting to development with Super, Xenoverse, Heroes, etc. all converging!!

I'm so ready for rebooted Broly.
But guys, since they're re-releasing the Broly movie in theaters remastered, as well as the Bardock movie and Fusion Reborn, what are the odds that we'll see Bardock and Gogeta in the Super movie as well? I mean, they are going to be talking about the history of the Saiyans, Frieza.. so it makes sense to have Bardock, right? And Gogeta could potentially be a surprise fusion that'll take on Broly.

I just wanna point out that the recent exclusive Broly has a purple dress and that’s it. New Broly has purple pants with a fur coat around his waist and a tail. So I doubt you need the exclusive

I highly doubt that Saiyan in the teaser was a newly redesigned Broly Thats way too dramatic of a makeover for such an iconic character in the series Why? We know that this Broly is straight up a reboot, and everything we've heard about the art direction for this movie is that they're trying to go out of their way to shake things up. Additionally, we know Toriyama took a direct hand in shaping this new version... and if he changed things about the design, I doubt they'd argue. I'm... cautiously optimistic. If they can undo the stupid baby crying nonsense, I'll happily accept Broly into official canon. |
