Trunks Xeno in ssj is very cool but i don't like avatar... why that stupid character, Nobody used it in the game... we want Tien or Yamcha... Because aside from maybe the cape, he's all part reuse. 80% of the outfit is a repainted future trunks (with 2.0 upgrades), the scouter is from Vegeta/Nappa, and the head is basically early buu saga Gohan. And frankly, that's exactly WHY I'm buying him... I want the body for Trunks so I can switch it up based on my mood (I like both time patroller and classic outfits) and the head is being given to a Saiyaman Gohan custom I have waiting. He's inevitably designed to offset the cost of new tooling for Future Trunks and many of the 2.0 figures we've got coming out. TBF, what I meant was that it's either reused parts, or parts that *can be* reused. Aside from the cape (which I think is in two pieces so the cape part can be reused) which is a big cost saving measure with any toy. I honestly would not be surprised if we get a surprise 2.0 Future Trunks around the same time as the Future Trunks arc starts hitting the states.

Aside from the cape (which I think is in two pieces so the cape part can be reused) which is a big cost saving measure with any toy. I honestly would not be surprised if we get a surprise 2.0 Future Trunks around the same time as the Future Trunks arc starts hitting the states. I could very well see them revealing Black Arc characters at the next schedules event. Possibly along with release dates for the Buu figures as well. I'd expect them to show off a Super Trunks, Goku Black (With SSJ Rosé head) and maybe a Zamasu. Mai would be friggen fantastic though. |

These guys are capable of releasing Vermouth or Monaka before Yamcha or Ten. I personally would prefer Goku SSJ4, since he's my most wanted figure of the collection  |

Super Saiyan 3 Goku would be the ideal gateway to a Buu Saga focus for Tamashii Nations. I believe the Buu Saga will take over a year to air on Toonami and that gives Tamashii a lot of time to release Super Saiyan 2 Goku, Gotenks, Kid Trunks, Goten, any form of Majin Buu, and since he's proven to Tamashii Nations that he's a top seller, all transformations of Vegeta. (Normal, Demon Prince/Majin, and Super Saiyan 2.) (Personally, I would like to see Supreme Kai.) Tamashii Nations can skip the Battle of Gods, Resurrection F, and Universe 6 Tournament arcs and put their focus on Future Trunks arc releases when that eventually airs on Toonami which will take about a year from the 1st episode air date. These guys are capable of releasing Vermouth or Monaka before Yamcha or Ten. Tamashii Nations 2014 was the initial reveal and Tamashii Nations 2015 revealed updates. The more updates, the better. I have no problem waiting for the best possible product. Tien already has the updated lower half for Super Saiyan 4 Goku so all they need to do is drill a hole in the back with some tear added around it and paint it differently. I'm hoping the torso will also be updated. It looks good but it could certainly be better. Ideally, very similar to Super Warrior Awakened Goku's torso and even arm molds. |

Most definitely getting the Kaioken Goku. He looks great to me.  I know alot of people are tired of that mold but the more the merrier to me. |

I'm very, VERY excited for this release. I may still have issues with that underwhelming SDCC sash and how it barely works with the design but this has been on my factory release/custom wishlist since the the 2014 Goku was released. The ki glow paint app that's actually effective, the red kamehameha effect that can also be used with SS4 Goku (when it comes out)...and...well...other compelling reasons. I love it even though you can make a long list of reasons why it shouldn't have been made.
On the other hand...I'm extremely disappointed that so many people seem to hate it. I'm well aware that people are sick of Goku releases, especially those that use the old design, but this is an event exclusive. It's been said many times by many people, exclusives are NOT essential, they are bonuses. This is an ideal bonus release.

Back in the day I would've been 100% on board with this figure. It's the perfect choice for an exclusive since it's very much an optional release for collectors. Only thing I don't like about it is that they used the old body. It needs to be phased out already and the 2.0 upgraded body would've made this great release an excellent one. That said I'll still get it but hopefully one day we get a 2.0 of this since it will be a stand out figure amongst the newer ones

If this were an updated mold, Tamashii Nations would lose out on a lot of potential profit, which could be put towards the budget for future upgrades and releases, by severly limiting the collectors the opportunity to obtain the product. |

I'll get that garbage if it drops in price (so probably never). I'm tired of that ugly ass mold. Maybe if they made it with updated articulation I'd consider getting fruit punch flavored Goku, but until then I'm going to avoid buying any figure using this body mold that Tamashii is squeezing every last cent out of.
