The humanoids are too big. These are all pushing 6"and up. Buy looks good tho How can you tell? I can't find scale details anywhere, only SSJ Goku and Frieza's box dimensions and since this is a model kit series that does mean much. I know the MG Figurise series were 1/8 scale, but these look smaller. If that is Trunk Figuarts posed with them, then it looks as though they are perfect scale. In fact they may even be marketed as a cheap alternative for those who like to build their figures. Look at vegeta, then look at that trunks.

Can't go by them. every review they have done so far is pretty much the final product down to the color skin and everything in the box.

So that's a bummer Those reviews are not the final product though. Can't go by them. In those reviews its basically the final product. Its a prototype yeah, but the differences is mostly that the joints are loose because they need the proper pressure applied on the rivets, or a few awful paint errors, but mostly its the final product as shown just without those (or very little) errors.

My mistake. Could have sworn some here said the opposite. Maybe I'm getting mixed up with another reviewer

So, I give credit to whoever said that the ultra trunks hair piece will come with another figure.

The model kits are reportedly 1:12, so should fit with figuarts. Even if its slightly out, the figures not available as figuarts (gotenks, mechs frieza, and the buus) won't matter too much really as long as they are bigger/smaller than goku. Heck if they are slightly bigger that frieza could even be a 100% version!

Btw I was driving today and thinking about the sdcc exclusive this year.. I think it might be Frost from super all they really have to do is repaint freeza and change the feet... It would make sense since tamashii did ask on ig once, which universe 7 character would you like made as a figure.. Just my thought

Tamashii has never released a new character as a SDCC exclusive. Its only different variations. So it being Frost, sorry not possible. Would of been cool though, but not likely going to happen.

I dunno, it's hard to say. Just because they've never done a new character as an SDCC exclusive doesnt mean it's out of the realm of possibility. I do understand your point though, the historical track record makes a new figure less likely.

As one of the hints I got for the SDCC exclusive is that its not a big deal. Meaning like its nothing that new, nothing that exciting. If it were to be Frost it would of been a big deal as its something way different since if it were to be a new figure.

But I dont think it's beyond reason that an SDCC figure could ever be a new character. All of this aside, you using "one of the hints I got for the SDCC exclusive is that its not a big deal" as reasoning to suggest it couldn't or wouldn't be a new character is subjective and the opinion of whoever gave you that hint.

Releasing a new character figure as a sdcc release isnt a thing for any brand/company I believe. It's ways viarants that are released at cons. Why would you waste money of a limited mold you would use again? Unless we get the color viarant first at sdcc then the standard version of the new figure.

It's very possible. Although the sdcc is a new character, it's the same exact sculpt. Therefore it is technically not a "new" character on its own. Tamashii is very good with putting loopholes in their words. I mean. They went out of their way to make a new belt sculpt for last year's sdcc. So what makes you think they won't go out of their way for a feet sculpt
