Does the skin color not look to orange to you? It's not as bad as it seems but it is there. Also I don't like the whole glossy finish. The gi color is actually anime accurate to his first appearance but it could've been done better. Other than that the figure itself is awesome. The deltoids are fixed from the Goku mold and the hair is beautifully detailed, colored, and sculpted. It is back heavy but I can't really think of a way around that. SSJ3 just has a lot of hair! Yeah, his skin color bothers me more than the gi color does for some reason. They need to get rid of that writing on the back too. I'd really like some more face plates, but I know that's asking a little much from Tamashii. I'm really glad to have the figure though because it was missing from my collection for a long time. |

I just don't share the desire to open them bro lol Man... no offense to you but people like you just annoy me! Box collectors or whatever the proper way theyre called. Like I know theres collectors who want their item mint precise condition, but its like a waste to be honest. As theres other people who want the figure to open and enjoy it but you just have sitting there or in the closet and such. Its like if you want it to be always in a box then there should be a separate line (I know its never going to happen. lol) where the figure is like a substitute, like a statue or something, giving the look like is a articulated figure, as other collectors who actually get it for the figure open it and enjoy it. I forget where I heard it, but box collectors are just like scalpers in a way, as you purchase the figure, keep it mint in box as thats how they collect, but then when the figure value goes for this much or that they instinctively sell it! If its a statue mint in box its like not a waste as a statue just sits there, so the box its like a case to protect it, but a figure that designed to be posed, moved around, with interchangeable parts and accessories, and its still sealed in its box, I'm sorry but that's a waste in my opinion.
Yuh well im sure this comment is going to piss a lot of yall off but Idc. Im 25 and don't feel the need to play with toys. Hints why all my figures are sealed. Im not going to get into a whole discussion about this with you but thats the type of collector I am. If we're being blunt here, I don't come on here and bitch about how ppl like you make it hard for a collector like me to find the figure I need for my collection sealed, but cant because the only ones I come across on Ebay or here are all opened. No offense.... |

I also keep all the boxes and inserts. For the ones that came with them, I've also kept the brown shipper boxes. Since some people seem to like them I thought it a shame to throw them away.
On a totally different note, what do we all think of Whis' leg articulation? We know it will be limited, but will there be knees under that dress? Or will it just be two rigid sticks on hip joints? Will there even be hip joints? I have absolutely no idea.

I'm sure Whis will have the standard level of Figuarts leg articulation available, it just won't be very accessible.

Like VR said I imagine he'll have the usual hip/knee joints but you won't be able to do much with it because of his clothes.
Still wouldn't be surprised to see a little slit/s down his skirt area so his legs can move a little easier (Like Android 18 and some others) but doesn't look like it on the prototypes.

You reminded me. Let's get Super Kaioken back in the series!!  Lol. But this isn't the DBS thread... I was actually just thinking about the need for some Buu Saga releases. Now it's not my favourite part of the series at all, but we have 3 Buu saga heroes now. SS3 Goku, Vegeto and Ult. Gohan. But not one Buu! Step it up Tamashii! A Buu Saga Vegeta would be cool too, and yes he needs to have a Majin head as well. I'm still dreaming of a purple gi/Saiyaman Gohan. They could probably make the purple gi out of other figure's parts... maybe SDCC? Lol probably not. |

Goku was revealed on April 29 2015 (through Animexico), and assuming Tamashii Nations doesn't prevent an early reveal we could end up seeing the 2016 SDCC exclusive by the end of this month or in early May.
