But I guess you would be correct in thinking that the original would be Arlian Vegeta since he appeared first. If we went by the release of the figures, the first Vegeta figure in the line is SSj Vegeta, but most people go by SSj Vegeta releases and non-SSj Vegeta as two different characters. More specific, instead of OG, you could say OVA Vegeta. As ◄VR► pointed out though, most of these haven't been this expensive out of the gate. However with the line booming, and the specific figure that they chose ( Frieza Saga Goku ) it was inevitable. |

I guess it will be really long wait for the buus and all the characters we want, if tamashii releases all the major and highly demanded characters at once their marketing profits would drop significantly thus dragon ball super came out so they have more characters to produce. I think tamashii along with other toy companies had a big role in making dragon ball come back on 2015. Unfortunately I think you're right about waiting for the Buu figures and such. They've actually started showing more and more of the DBS stuff and considering we're practically getting Beerus and Whis back-to-back along with SSGSS Vegeta, it looks like Tamashii is riding the marketing wave for Dragon Ball Super. Which makes sense... Thankfully, those three along with Goku are the most prominent characters who are getting their forms made into figures. I hope Tamashii doesn't throw us for a loop and push out Champa and Vados over some of the other awesome stuff like SSJ4 Goku as I'll be extremely disappointed. |

They never showed it outside of that event and then promised they would put him back on the table if Broly sold well (and he did). Haven't heard anything about him since. It's a shame because the fans are very vocal about wanting him (and Majin Vegeta) but Tamashii seems to not care. Hopefully after they finish riding this Super nonsense, they'll go back and give us what we actually want. They've already got so many great prototypes that need some minor tweaking and they'd be ready for release. |

I truly believe that we will get the Majin Vegeta because its arguably one of the best characters in DBZ. Question is when? but who knows if we'll see Nappa. I feel like they've forgotten about him.

My prediction: ss4 goku in September; Champa next; Vados; then maybe Jaco as the first "new" figure next year. I think we'll see a couple more pc (cell? Ssj3 goku?) releases thrown in there, kind of like how Vegeta and trunks were December/January of this year.
Let Tamashii get the super craze out of their system, then probably we'll get nappa, majin vegita, etc.

We already have Goku SSB, Vegeta SSB, Golden Freeza, Beerus and Whis (Super releases from october/15 to august/16). That's too much.. Vados, Champa and Jaco are such 'ugh' releases. If they insist releasing Super characters let it be Hit instead. I want SS4 Goku and at least one Majin buu this year!

Well sadly they will milk Super dry but it will be a long time before it gets dry because of all the new characters.
I hope someone there is a fan and has common sense to keep both sides alive and release some Super stuff alongside some DB, DBZ or even GT stuff like SSJ4 etc.
Though right now. SSJ4 is by far my most anticipated Figuarts figure. I hope I won't be disappointed but something tells me I will be.
Also from a business standpoint...I can't see how any figure from Super can possibly sell more than SSJ4 Goku. GT did a lot of things wrong but SSJ4 transformation is one of the very few things they did well and boy was it amazing. I hope once they do release him and it sells like crazy they'll rethink their strategy as of late.

Luckily there is clearly someone that's a fan of SSJ4 at Tamashii. People can hate on GT all they want but that transformation is iconic and beloved all around the world. That figure is gonna sell VERY well I predict. I've no doubt he'll be released or at least officially announced this year.

i agree with you guys,maybe gt wasn't as good as expected but everything about ssj4 is epic and no one can deny it.
and right now ssj4 goku is probably the most requested figure. they should release him soon! (i also want ssj4 vegeta/gogeta but that's asking too much i guess)

Does anyone know if they are any more Dragon Ball Z figuarts coming this year, excluding the ones already announced? Are there like certain number of DB figures they release annually or does it depend on different factors? Like could they surprises us with new proto-types at some toy conventions or comic con?
