Yuh I feel like he's coming out soon. Most likely this year. Also has anybody heard anything about the sdcc release? Is there a thread for that already ? There's a video on youtube ( link) about a possible leak that's SSB Goku repainted to look like End of DBZ/GT Goku (the blue Gi and his blue hair painted yellow) but I'm not sure how trustworthy that would be. Assuming SS4 Goku is coming soon though a GT-styled Goku might be a good idea. Edit: Personally I was holding on getting Ultimate Gohan on the tiny 0.000000-something% chance that the SDCC release is an adult Gohan in the purple outfit with a Super Saiyan head. Doubt it'll happen but still hoping  |

I agree with Eddieranger, more Goku would be boring at the moment - already got SSB and Awakening Goku in just the last few months with (expected) SS4 to come. |

Yuh Im sick of the Gokus as well but sense most of the SDCC's are usually repaints of another (besides last year) The only ones I can think of are Cell and SS3 Goku lol which would be another Goku hahaha Id rather them introduce a figure not out yet that no one knows about. That would be cool. Not to mention catch ppl off gaurd.

I think from now on the event exclusives are gonna be not just mere repaints like before but also minor retools. They started it last year and with the PC releases they need to differentiate. Since they can't retool PC's, the event exclusives will probably do that.

How far away is SDCC? I'm interested as to the exclusive as well, I really wanted last year's but I didn't have the cash and now I'll never afford it.
A purple-gi Gohan would be sick and I would totally buy it. However I would also get EoZ/GT Goku, despite the Goku saturation, just because I love the look so much.
If they repaint Cell, I personally wouldn't purchase it because I'm satisfied with regular Cell (and I had the chance to get him at retail price), but it would probably be a good move. SS3 Goku would also be very wise, they could even market it as a Battle of Gods version.
I'm not sure what else they could do, lots of possibilities exist now that remolds are a thing. It'll probably be something totally from left field like Original Anime Vegeta lol.

I think tamashii along with other toy companies had a big role in making dragon ball come back on 2015.

I think Toriyama getting bored and making Battle of Gods & Resurrection F had a little more to do with it I'm not sure about the long wait for Buu. Super Buu was shown off sometime last year IIRC so I imagine he's coming at some point - in some form anyway, doubt we'll get Buuhan and Buutenks like they showed off but who knows (maybe one of those could be an exclusive some day?) I would've said I agree that all we'd be getting for a while is Super characters (was expecting Jaco, Champa and/or Vados next) but with SS4 Goku showing up all over the place it looks like he might be announced soon, so it's not just Super characters coming at least - assuming he does get announced anyway. |

If you can now never afford it at the $150 price range, I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but that was pretty much the going rate WHILE SDCC was going. Expect this years to likely be 100-150+ to get out the gate pretty much as well. There was a small grace period of it being about $100 at the beginning of the convention, but that was REALLY short lived. Last years Goku has actually not really raised in price since it was released, which is surprising. I can only assume there are a lot more in the market than were originally perceived if they aren't going up. However they are still selling, and nobody wants to lower their asking price, so they will either rot at $150, or sell. Looks like enough are moving that people don't lower their prices. |

Yup. Drowning you are correct sir. I just bought one off of ebay. Well him and SDCC Vegeta together. Both brand new. He's staying between 150 - 200 range.

Expect this years to likely be 100-150+ to get out the gate pretty much as well. OG Vegeta wasn't a SDCC exclusive? Even the Arlian Vegeta was cheaper, but that is because not many care about him. Frieza Saga Goku however is obviously much more in demand. |

The recent SDCC Goku is the first SDCC exclusive to become that expensive so quickly on the after market. All the other ones were able to be obtained for reasonable prices right after the convention.
I paid $40-50 for SSJ Goku and Gohan, and $70-80 for Piccolo and Arlian Vegeta.
