That's an old picture. Those aren't figuarts, those are the older model kits. I believe they were 1/8 scale. Here's the full display of the MG model kits. They ended up cancelling the Vegeta and Trunks. Hey, new here. I recently made this account to ask a question you already addressed (I wanted to look around to make sure I wasn't making a thread asking something that was already discussed). So, they cancelled the Vegeta and Trunks model kits... Gotta say, that's flat out dissapointing. I recently bought the Goku kits and was rather impressed with them. I was curious to see if they would make more, then I found sites showing these guys: sagittariolucente.blogspot.com/2010/05/mg-figurerise-vegeta-e-trunks-dragon.htmlI found these pictures days ago and all I could think was, "I must buy these!" ... then I saw the date these were published, 2010. Seeing as nothing else was shown of these two, I feared the worst but I wanted to make sure. Well, at least I wasn't hyped for to long before the bad news. I feel bad for everyone who saw these 5 years back and all they got for their excitement was a massive letdown. Well, at the very least I can't wait to pick up the Luffy figure.

I only got one DBZ SH Figuarts in 2015. Vegito! Once I get that new Trunks, I'll be set for a long while. Not looking forward to 20 new Gokus, lol.

I hope they show us Tien and Yamcha soon, but I think that won't happen before 2017/2018.. My collection just doesn't feel complete without these guys. Master Roshi is a must too!

Thing with those guys is that while they're technically Z-Fighters, in the grand scheme of things, they aren't as important/useful as other characters were. Also while Tien might be the more popular of the two, most other characters rank higher in mainstream DBZ popularity. Tamashii right now wants to make what will sell (mainly Saiyans, villains, and new characters). I have no doubt they'll eventually make them but they definitely don't rank high on their list of priority. 2017-2018 is probably a good guess as to when they might come out in one form or another. For Yamcha I'd think the best time to release him would be with Nappa since well...ya know For Tien, if they decide to release a Semi-Perfect Cell, that'd be his key moment for release. Pairing them with their respectable villains will help them sell better than as stand alone figures. As for Roshi, since they may be delving into Dragon Ball, he seems like a given along with Krillin and Bulma at a minimum.

Sadly (or not) the best sellers are the Sayians, so it makes sense that they keep releasing them. The only earthling released until now was Krillin, and as far as I know he didn't sell that well, at least in Brazil his price has not skyrocketed yet. But well, he did better than A16 at least. Yeah I agree, they already did that with A16, so despite the fact he didn't sell that well he would do worse if his release happened like 2 years after the other androids. A display with Tien and semi perfect cell would be awesome. And for Yamcha, of course, some Saibaimans from other lines (with the correct scale) would be cool too. God, so many options!! lol

They would have to create a unique yamcha and so long as it wasn't a retool of ultimate Gohan or Goku I would buy it. If it had long hair and no undershirt like Saiyan saga that would be awesome, one accessory could be a short haircut head resembling android saga or something. I'd but the zero fighters if they started showing interest in releasing them.

Yamcha would most likely reuse the tired Goku mold albeit tweaked here n there (no blue undershirt, new shoes, etc.). Just enough to make it a wee bit different & not waste new resources on him, so he could be a low risk release. Thinking their logic is "if he doesn't sell good then oh well, we didn't spend a lot to make him anyway"
What I really want is a Normal Broly with SSj headswap. I think that would be a cool looking Figuart. If they ever release Goten/Trunks then they should release Normal Broly around the same time, for obvious reasons

Pairing characters up is the best way to sell this guys. I'm kinda disappointed that Super and the movies took precedence over the old stuff since it looks like if it weren't for all that, the Buu's would've been released with Vegito and Ultimate Gohan. Now we have to wait even longer for them...

I'm wanting to buy some stands as I just got my Broly and stands make everything so much easier , so I'm wondering if "Stage Act 5" tamashii stand will work for DBZ figuarts ?

Not really, the only thing good about the stage act 5 is the extra long thingy that will make the standard stands even longer, such as flight poses, etc. I would recommend the stage act 4.

Yamcha could get a retooling of SSGSSGoku's torso, since he already has no undershirt.
As for Tien, despite not really collecting the Figuarts line (aside from Broly and Golden Frieza), a real Figuarts Tien is my dream figure at this point. I have already had this idea of what he'd come with, so he could be displayed for every saga, minus the Buu Saga.
Base Figure w/o shirt for Saiyan/Frieza Saga Accessories: -Snap-on green sash (just like Android 17's scarf) for Androids Saga -Separate torso with white shirt (the torso would basically be a tank top if you combine his bare arms) this would be for Trunks Saga -Pair of short white sleeved arms to combine with white torso for Cell Games Saga -Three sets of hands (Tri-beam, Solar Flare, fists) -Three heads (serious, yelling, confident)
A handful of figures have already gotten more accessories than this, whether in quantity or weight, so this is very doable, and would increase his value (since they believe Tien is a risky make) Imagine being able to display him in 4 different outfits and 4 different sagas (shirtless, white tank top, green sash, and white shirt) Perfect!

I think Piccolo's torso would be the best/easiest to use for Yamcha. No undershirt and no need to get rid of the collar/closure details of the SSGSS gi.
