I Agree with prodigy1367 , for now I think you should get the frieza since a premium color cell might come out. It is more likely than a ''premium color'' frieza, he is already perfect as it is. I agree. I think Frieza is going to be one of the ones that they will never rerelease. It'll be a very special figure. Too bad I already sold my mint one, but I needed the money. I still have my display one! He's fighting SDCC Goku currently. |

I really hope Buu is released too.... I have my Vegito in a non canon pose shooting a ki blast against...........................
Cell. Lol. I don't even think he would need a ki blast to maul Cell. I can only think of all the possibilites of amazing poses with my vegito and super buu.

As wizard said, Frieza is perfect as is, that beautiful bastard. I can't really think of a PC coloring for him but Cell could easily be redone in a brighter green to give a more anime appearance.
About Super Buu, I have a feeling they'll release the two we've seen mid-late 2016. I'm not sure when the Buu Saga of DBKai is coming out but I believe I read somewhere the English dub is coming sometime mid next year. Tamashii will likely release a bulk of the Buu Saga stuff then. Hopefully this includes Majin, Gotenks, and a regular Super Buu and/or Kid Buu.

I don't understand that either. It's not like young kids can afford these. Then again, I don't know how Japan's economy is doing. I would assume not so hot with how Dragon Ball Super is being treated.

They're prioritizing what's new and fresh compared to what is tried and true. The majority of the customers are adults that have grown up with the series so the new stuff isn't all that special to us. It seems however that at Tamashii HQ, the target market is the younger generation. Someone needs to overhaul their business department cuz if they truly wanted to, they could bankrupt each and every one of us with the most wanted specific character releases. |

This was my prediction:
Early 2016 line; Trunks and Beerus.
Mid/late spring 2016 line; SSJgodSSJ Vegeta, jaco, and maybe buu.
Fall 2016 line; Nappa, SSJ4 goku, and maybe buu.
I think they will spend 2017 as the ''penultimate '' year, releasing all highly demanded characters such as tien and yamcha, alongside alot of other figures that will blow our minds. And then spend 2018 releasing most DBS figures, and I think that will be the last year for SH figuarts (I know, it's a horrible prediction but I think it is true, lol).

Hmmmm.....some interesting predictions......it's Wonder Festival in 38 days, so I'm guessing we'll know a lot more after that. In the meantime I think that based on the current release pattern we'll likely see a break in June, with Whis being the most likely candidate for release in July. Whether July will still be too early for Champa/Vados is debatable and i'm still not sold on the popularity of Jaco yet........
Given Super progression, Champa and Vados could be August releases and then I fully expect by then we will see a new Vegeta using the new articulated design from Goku/Trunks, probably released in September. I'd also like to think a new teen Gohan will come (announced shortly after his May re-release no doubt).
With Piccolo and Buu taking part in the Universal Tournament, i'd also wager that we'll see another Piccolo re-release, unless they decide to re-sculpt him as well (battle damaged ftw!!), along with a Fat Buu...........possibly......... (I hope)
Those are my predictions for 2016........apart from maybe SSJ4 Goku, i'll be surprised if any of the other prototypes/rumours come to fruition next year.
We've just hit the 1/4 point of Dragon Balls Supers 100 episode run. It's taken 6 months, so we'll be riding the DBS train now until the end of July 2017!!

In the next show of figures I think that Super Saiyan 3 Goku or Cell premium color will be revealed, I mean trunks and vegeta had their release date as soon as they showed them. I also think a Majin Vegeta is coming with an updated hair sculpt and new faces.

Maybe it's not 2018 but it will happen.. Soon atleast. By 2018 it will have lasted like 8 or so years, maybe it could last 10 years and then they will stop manufacturing. They will instead do new generation kid stuff which most toy companies are into nowadays anyways. |

At this point I have lost all hope of them releasing Great Saiyaman Gohan, which is a shame because that would've been an awesome release with all the alternate faces it could have & poses we could make
