Lets remember the top three scenes didnt have strictly printed backgrounds.By saying I don't want printed scenes, I mean where the entire background is printed. Sometimes, it helps scenes and other times, hurts them. I think it hurt Bran's Bulma scene, but helped PGV's South Kai scene in voting, but wasn't necessarily better. I still think Bran's best scene was Shenron and Pilaf where everything was real. How about this for a rule, it must include3 real life objects aka glass, plastic, box, table, rocks, dirt, tree etc IF the background is printed. SS 1 scenes look hilarious. Each contest has improved in quality, but not quantity or creativity unfortunately I don't remember ever participating before this last one....weird The 3 real objects sounds reasonable Even if maybe adding more rules is not useful.. I'm still on the side of removing the most possible

There have been a lot of really creative scenes over the years there. All very impressive compared to the kind I can make

An American magazine that was about collecting dbz ccg cards and action figures. Despotes was a contributing writer for it. My Zarbon custom and maybe others ended up in issues as well. I still have a few of them somewhere.

Can you look through them some time? Maybe you're the guy who can fix the jakks check list. It should be in chronological order instead of the way it is now. I bet those issues tell when everything came out, maybe even dates you can add, even if you have to go through several issues to fix the chronology. Right now we have stuff from 2006 listed before 2003 and I know many two packs came out really early but I don't know which.

Yep your king kai scene and goku and bubbles in the tree are in there. I always wanted that tien you made lol. I was just looking at the ones I have last night, I think they changed the name from Beckett dbz to Beckett anime before many of the jakks figures were released.

I agree with pgv about allowing custom figures that have already been seen. I knew the shenron one was bran since him and I were the only ones with clear rods for the shenron. I figured the dr. wheelo was either adrenalines pgv, or bran's etc. Most people know our styles in customizing. For example im really the only one who customizes figuarts on here. If I were to keep one secret and enter it most people would think its mine... just because im really the only active member here that does it. I do agree that dioramas like the one ive already made shouldn't be entered unless its like a small piece if it. That will allow more people to join and allow a lot more creative scenes.

I kind of thought that since I didn't have any clearcoat on Bulma or Goku that it would throw people off into thinking the scene was maybe made by Adrenaline, Cmakhk, or someone else.
I think if you know my style, the SS Gohan was very obviously mine, but I made the scene so simply that the scene didn't look like mine. So the figure did, but the scene didn't.
The Bulma... could have been anyone's because I shaded the scarf too much and didn't shade the dress (I don't think...?).
I don't think most people knew the Porunga was mine, in fact, I would be surprised if anybody thought it was mine.
The Shenron might have slipped under the radar a little bit with most people, though people who really pay attention, like Reaper, probably remembered that I own that Pilaf and when I first got my Shenron I had Pilaf riding on his horns in a pic or video. And, of course, at some point I took some pics of Shenron on those clear acrylic rods. But I really wouldn't consider that a custom so much as it is just a regular Shenron on different poles--something that could be made easily by anyone, as he is simply sitting on top of them.

Not gonna lie bran, you threw me off with the Bulma. I thought that was Adam's. Then again it was just a 50/50 guess since you and Adam are the most active customizers. Plus your style/skill is different from others.
