thanks aussiedcfan. Maybe I should have put this scene instead of the Kamehouse with Krillin & Yamcha, but well, it was hard to decide

I like the Trunks scene better than the Yamcha one!

Me too. That Trunks scene is better than the Yamcha one. PGV's scenes had TONS of detail to them, which is probably why he won. But they didn't have perfect scale though lol Yamcha being bigger than the house, Snake Way being too closeup and gray, and Hirudegarn being too far away, but goes to show you why detail is more important than accuracy. My scenes sucked except Wheelo, but unfortunately not being able to see him as part of the plan backfired a bit. Btw, I made the Popo eyes creative, but complete crap

Well I kinda agree. For instance Bran's scene with Pilaf Gang was "perfect", but at the same time poor. And also, as I said earlier, it was a representation of a scene itself that didn't represent anything particularly interesting. I'm the first to say that Hildegarn's scene wasn't the best (I already said), but indeed it had the most pathos into it and was good enough to result more interesting and engaging than others. There will come a day when I'll combine all these elements with accuracy, hopefully for the next contest.

By the way, I'd like to discuss a rule, that in my opinion shall change in future contests.
The "new customs", or "never before shown customs" rule.
1) It was easy (at least for me) to recognize Branjita's customization style in the bulma & goku scene... so I can't see how we would make a style secret
2) I sold A LOT of customs recently (and also not much recently), even if you know that a person made a custom, THAT DOESN'T MEAN ANYMORE that the scene and the photo was made by him. I saw other people selling customs, like timone, or sychosculpt (sorry if I spell wrong)... the point is that this strict logic disallows also rare customs owners to join the contest.
3) Strict secrecy in general is not constructive for the forum. I felt like I had a gag on my mouth ( or keyboard, whatever )
4) Also I'd loved to see an entry with a photo made with i2eapei2's planet namek scenario.... he was excluded because he shared his amazing work with us previously than the contest? This is not constructive for the forum.
Said that, I gently ask to discuss those points... in my opinion the secrecy shall be limited to the description of the content of the photo, the photo itself and eventually the partecipant shall be asked to avoid any photo even from different angulations to be shared previuosly than the contest. But just about the final scene setup... We can't block people from posting dioramas, customs, etc...
