Is it PAL that is giving you a problem or the region code?

I use software called DVD Region Free. That usually lets me play NTSC and other region DVDs on my PC.

In your computer (or video playing software) you can change your region in the options but I think you can only do it like 3 or 4 times before it locks to the last one you set. If you just want to watch a movie once this is an option.
