These figures look amazing. Eren looks much better than the kotobukiya one for sure. I think Levi can look much better though. I prefer statues to have action poses so I think kotobukiya suits me more for Levi. I'm with you. The Koto's Levi pose is simply amazing. The sculpt looks very nice and the painting looks good too. Will you get any of these? |

Well I was planning on getting the Levi koto one but I decided to prioritize DB stuff at the moment and later focus on attack on Titan.

It is OK. But at the same time you don't know for certain if you can find these GSC/Koto figures at a retail price later on. To be honest, I think they will be "rare" in a while (due to a limited release), and you could only get scammed by scalpers.
By the other hand, looks like the Sentinel figures are not as "limited" as the ones of these 2 companies, so you could find them easier.
That's why I already preordered GSC Mikasa & will do the same with GSC Eren & Levi/Koto.

With regards to the gsc figures, I agree with you completely. I think we should move fast on them. But most of the time, if not all the time, koto reissues the figures so I'm not really worried about them. Plus, I'll see if I can snatch one from Manda a 1000 yen cheaper or something.

Ohhh nice. So we're getting an OVA about Levi's start/youth. Do we know when this is going to be released? If I'm not wrong, there are only 2 OVA's right now, no? I don't want to read too much in the inet, because I don't want to be spoiled. I have watched the first season, and watched both Ovas. I haven't read the manga. I don't really know, I just read that there will be two DVD releases, december 2014 and april 2015. I guess one will be the summarize movie that was announced before, and the other is the Levi origins Manga story. There is also a live action movie in production state. www.imdb.com/title/tt2072230For me I watched as well both the OVA's, first season of the Anime, I read up to episode 60 of the Manga, Levi Manga spin-off, Before the fall Manga spin-off, and I viewed some of Isayama early draft of the story as well, but that wasn't well made to finish on tbh... I highly recommend to read the Manga, the artwork and ton are quite different than the Anime, and for me I just couldn't stand to wait to follow up on the story. It is definitely very enjoyable to read, and still enjoying the animation adaptation when season two will come out. I also reccomend checking out ilse's notebook in the Manga, the details are a bit different than the animation. |

I just read it online... You might want to check out Before The Fall since it place like 70 years before the main story, but it's pretty bad one tbh. I only have figma Eren in hand and Mikasa on the way, but I want to get the other figmas too sometime...  |

Ahhh I just don't like to read it online if I like a show a LOT. If this is the case I like to have it on paper. So I may end up buying it just like the Death Note comics. But for the few vignettes I have seen, the drawings are very simple and they look a bit poor in details, am I right? Before the Fall is another OVA or is it a manga read? You sure have to complete it and get them all!! For the price the figmas cost, they look pretty good. And by the way, are you sure you don't want to get into statues?  |

Well I would have to strongly disagree with you, the artwork is incredible, after all the anime is an of it adaptation, no? It would be really cool to actually own the Manga though. Before The Fall is another Manga spin-off, but it does not reveal any spoilers for the main story. I just need figma Levi and Armin. I agree that some statues have amazing details and look, but for me, I collect a lot of 1/12 stuff so thsoe fit into my collection really well. And the fact that the figmas are accessorized & articulated! I do collect some Dragon Ball statues though as you know.... |

Well I was not sure about the drawing in the comic, I just remember I saw some vignettes and they were poor and pretty empty. If that's not the case, that's great news!! I will have to end up buying it.  And that's also true, the drawing and the animation in the anime is sick, that's why I was indredulous when I saw some of these vignettes. I will check After the fall spin off if it doesn't contain any second season spoiler then. Yeah dude, we have too many frontlines open, I didn't think I would open any other before I started watching AoT, but damn, I couldn't resist after I watched the whole first season.  EDIT: I'm too used to Takehiko Inoue style that I put the standard for the drawings and the overall details in vignettes too high. Inoue just got the full package (Vagabond, Slam Dunk, Real).  |
