Hey everyone so I'm working at PetSmart making like $10 an hour 15-22 hours a week 4-5 days a week. Not good I barely get to see my girlfriend who works in the same store because she works 30- 40 hours in a different part of the store and she's a full time student. It's hard to see her even with the crappy hours I work. But I'm looking at a new job/career it's at tesla many of my friends work there and it's $17 an hour 5-6 days a week and 12 hour shifts... That means I'll be lucky if I see her once a month... But the pay will be like over $1000 a week better than $120-200 a week. And I really want a mitsubishi evo 8 or maybe a supra. Impreza wrx maybe  I'm into fast cars and $10k-$30k for a car would be affordable but with this job I get 8 hours of sleep and 4 hours of me time each day. What should I do? |

Talk with your gf about it before you take the job. I bet she'll understand considering she works at the same place you do and would like a $1000 a week as well. I'd say take the job and just try to make time for your gf if you can.

Yeah definitely do not make the move before discussing it with your GF. I'd say take the new job too.

She says take it and I asked how will we make time for each other when we can't even do that now... She was like idk..

other job indeed, and as far as the gf is concerned, even having dinner here and there is still considered spending time IMO.
